Limit the amount of profiles a person can create
I have a stalker and everyday he deletes his account and makes a new one. On some days he even makes two or three new profiles after deleting the old one. For me it feels very haunting and i need to block him again and again to feel safe on this app, which also makes that sometimes I don’t even dare to go online on the app at all until i know he cannot find me, especially now i moved to a different neighbourhood and do not want him to know that. Boost!!!
Boost goes against the entire premise behind Grindr! To engage with local guys by knowing an approximate distance away. Just because you paid $20 an hour to Boost your profile doesn't mean I'm going to drive 30 miles to meet you!
If nothing else, put an overlay color on the Boost user's grid square!

You're nearby as crap are you pick any city you want and it won't show you anybody closer than 50 miles all the way up to 1200 mi it's fraud

It's time for the community to quit the app
When I started using the app, there were already some restrictions. Then the ads starting popping up, with higher frequency over the time. Then new features to catch the audience and these features were soon later given for a payment. Then the number of profiles you can see have been reduced. All this doesn't give anymore that sense of community, I was looking for, and sincerely disgusts me.
I hope another app will take the market away from Grindr. It wouldn't need much to reach the goal!

Dump the foreign bots
It is increasingly useless to even use the app because each time I login within seconds I get 5+ bots or foreign accounts claiming close proximity.
I understand that it would be incredibly difficult to try and keep them in check but I offer up two simple solutions. Since VPNs make it hard to accurately track a user location I would first see if their ip address location changes drastically from time to time then make them first pass a ‘r u human’ test the next time they want to send a message. Hard to find contacts in Favorite nowadays
First of all the favorite search tab should be back, then can actually search the notes that you put on the contacts.
Secondly, people with the distance turned off is now all the way on the bottom of the favorite together mixed with the offline people and the people that deleted the app already.2 votes -
