Remove yourself from peoples favorite list
It's kind of creepy how people can kind of a stalk you if they have you on their favorite list and worse if their account is premium and able to be incognito making it impossible to find and or block them at the very least people should be able to see who favorites them on say a separate tab labeled "favorited by" and it should be a free feature as it has the potential to play a role in a persons safety.

Allow to keep the order of the people I have blocked
I need the keep the order of the people I have blocked. That's because sometimes I want to unblock someone or simply I just want to erase the messages but keep the contact with someone. However, this isn't possible if there is disorder in the list of people I have blocked.

People don’t know how to carry a conversation
Another app had a flow chart on how to start a conversation and how to keep it going. Also do’s and don’ts like do ask follow up questions and don’t give one word answers.
Maybe a feature should be the option to say whether you are interested in having conversation or just looking for nsa fun with no talking.

Conservative tribe filter
There should be a filter to avoid people who have conservative ideologies or politics (or find them if that’s what you’re into). I don’t understand why someone who identifies as conservative is using a hook up app (especially a gay one). It mostly seems like trolling, so I’d prefer to not see their profiles.

Viewed Me
Change Viewed Me notification dot color to white or yellow; red is too dark to see if the phone is at arm's reach or sitting in a darker spot for discretion and the screen dims. Maybe even pulse the intensity.
Optional: Inbox notification too.

Blocking
Right now, blocking is a four step process at its very least. Most people block more people than they speak to. And it’s a pain to go to each and every profile to do what needs being done. Many times, you may get viewed by a profile that’s not on your radar, and you may want to block it for privacy concerns. My idea is one step, multiple blocking. The same way one would select multiple pictures to delete in one go.

A setting, where you have a profile picture on, but you can choose to only have it seen by other people who have a profile picture on
In india at least, far too many people have blank profiles, which are used to stalk / catfish etc other people. Which is why most people prefer not to post a picture of themselves. And then it gets to a point when pictures are to be shared and it’s a “you first” game going on. It’s annoying and ends up being inconsequential.
What if, people could put on their profile pictures, which are only visible to people who have pictures of themselves on. 🤷♂️

Remove the time limit for seeing taps on free accounts
Considering the huge amount of ads on the free version it’s very surprising that the free features are gradually being removed. The time limit or 8 hours to see a tap is ridiculous and should be removed.

Obviously the Grindr app is largely functioning as a hook up app. I'm gonna name this feature as "booty call". Whenever the user is actually looking, they agree that they have a picture of the face, body, sexy nudes and other info ready. They just simply turn on the switch, and all of the boys who are looking as well will show up on their "radar". Stop taking features away from paid users
I paid to use the app. With the last update over 1/2 the features I used have been disabled and aren’t available except for unlimited now. Bs. Definitely deleting the app after the subscription runs out. Totally not worth the price. Thanks for screwing over paid users. I can’t even imagine the crap unpaid users have to deal with.

Get rid of the Bots spamming us with Ads to other sites
I'm sick and tired of all of these bots constantly sending me expiring photos of other people from websites getting fingered or anal. I use grindr to be on grindr not see another dating site that's probably full of scammers. Also take away sugar baby and sugar daddy. All these people are doing is scamming people. We want a better experience. Also, if people don't want NSFW pics at first. Make a feature where people have to request to send people with that tag those types of photos. many guys are ashamed to tell partners they have been suffering with std. Many guys block others after one time hookup. There should be an option to let know anonymously that std was detected to let people test themselves. it could me a massive notice to everyone I marked as Hooked-up within last 3-4 weeks.

Restore full access to taps
Time limiting taps and putting it behind an already extortionate paywall is a joke. Using Grindr is a near-useless miserable experience now for non-paying users.

No limit blocking
Not being able to permanently block unwated users. I don't think it right to limit this feature as other sites don't. I don't think it's right. That is why I hate coming and using this app.
