   Can there be a feature to show how long a user account has been on Grindr? There are fraud people who ask for private info and photos, and as soon as they receive it they block you so there is no way to report them or to trace it. They have many of these profiles so they can have one piece of info one at a time then they would compile it like they have your face pic, private pic, address, phone no, etc. Then they try to scam and do fraud. If it shows how long the user has the acc, then it's easier to spot profiles that are just created and we can talk to them with more caution.

3. Stop app cloning! Stop mock location and implement unlimited blocks

   Disgrace of an app.

   Firstly. Lets talk about everything the app allows, and the complete disregard to users safety!

   All this fake location shenanigans! Firstly. Please don’t pretend you don’t allow it. You disallow it for freshly made profiles, then after a week you are good to go! And allow people to move their profiles at will.

   Secondly! You again “Allow” the use of sandboxing! Where users are making multiple clones of the Grindr app itself, that not only allows users to make an unlimited amount of profiles (clones) that can run simultaneously and at any location they choose, but you refuse, and i say this with great emphasis - REFUSE point blank to give users the ability to block unlimited profiles. Even though the app is riddled with fakes and people impersonating others.

   Why an app like Grindr in 2023 has a block limit is beyond me. You get thousands of complaints a day, about stalkers, fake profiles, and repeated “rules breakers” yet, you do nothing! We as a community should be able to block as many people as we see fit. This is a serious safety concern that Grindr simply does not care about. You have people committing suicide, and struggling so profoundly with their mental health because of all of these factors and you simply do not care.

   And lastly. Why you cannot implement a simple verification process like “Tinder” does. That allows users to verify their profiles with a blue tick, at the very least, Is quite frankly a disgrace.

   The app is riddled with fake profiles. Jumping from one location to the next. Making multiple accounts, impersonating others and causing no end of misery to normal users like myself, who just want to feel safe in an environment and free of stalkers. Yet here we are in 2023. The app in the worst possible state it has ever been. And still we have a ridiculous limit on how many profiles we can block.

   •Block mock location!
   •Block app clone pro!
   •Allow unlimited blocks!

   And for the love of god. ADD A VERIFICATION PROCESS!

   We deserve better!

4. Add an option to mute ad audio.

   Some of the ads you are running currently, especially the little ones at the top of the message screens, play loud audio out of the blue even when Grindr is only open in the background. This app should be discreet, and there should be a control that makes it possible to stop loud and uninvited audio from playing without warning.

7. Include host, can’t host, travel on bio.

   The blocking method is terrible, having to go from profile to profile to block those you are not interested in, still waiting for a message to come out. It should be able to select and block several at once, many people complain about this in the application

9. Improvement/ Getting out of the "only for fuck" ?

   Hello,
   I curently see 187 people who click on my grindr each day who see my profile, but very few send a message. Some says, "you are sexy,....." but don't go further into conversation, most people don't have any conversation at all. I always have the feeling i have to go to people, otherwise they just don't speak at all. A lot of people do somth else in the mean-time, not even to mention them to be slow-respondant.....

   Am I weird ? or is this a common topic. That's really disturbing.
   I tend to think people see Grindr as a depressing place, just for fuck, so "get the fuck"-minded behaviour. ( i live in south west countryside France, might have a geographical influence, but cities are the same, just you can fuck really easily like a boy a night, but is Grindr just fuck for people in cities ? )

   I have no clue how i can speak to guys, especially the ones i find interesting. I mean in that conditions. I mean finding a boyfriend, or something a bit serious is quite difficult here.

   I tend to think the core problem is because people see Grindr ONLY as a place to fuck people, and that is fundamentally depressing. I don't experience the same behaviour from the very same people on apps like Hornet for instance. People, place no value at all in speaking in grindr.

   I would like to know if in the end result it is a deliberate policy from your own or if it is a drawback.

   On top of this, i would enjoy to have a "feedback" or smth to see how other people perceive us. Do you have some public data-analysis or behavioral studies, so that i can expect maybe to be better one day. (though i doubt it, haha)

14. Backup Just Photos

    I don’t need to backup and keep chats when I delete the app, but I’d like to just backup the photos I’ve uploaded cause it’s a pain to reupload them each time I redownload the app and login again

15. Backup Just Photos, Not Chats

    When I delete the app I don’t need to keep my chats, but we should be able to backup only the photos we’ve uploaded cause it’s a pain to trip load them every time I decide to redownload and login.

16. Better acces to out of range profiles for basic/free subscription accounts

    Currently if someone taps/views you and they are out of your plans limited range you cannot view/interact with that persons profile unless they message you, or move within range.
    Allow users to interact, view, message only out of range profiles that initiate by message, tap, or view.
    For free permanent upgrade to lower tier accounts.

19. Syncing (not) between devices

    The messages don’t sync on different devices, so it would be great to adapt this in the very near future, and make it possible to seemlessly use one account on different devices. Such as for couples with shared accounts i.e.
    It’s possible with so many other apps and accounts, Grindr should join in to this development.
