  1. Being able to send videos through chat

    It would be nice to be able to send videos through chat. Most of the videos that many people would like to share are probably traveling, cooking, hiking, nature, vacation, pet, sports videos. The list goes on, it doesn’t have to be inappropriate videos that we share.

  2. Can’t silence the sounds with IOS

    Please create a setting to turn off the sounds (tap & messages) for IOS. The app cannot be used discreetly!

    Someone from your team sent me instructions but they do not work.

  3. Add an icon for read messages outside of chat

    I think it would be nice just to have an icon so we can tell if someone has read our message without having to actually click into their chat

  4. Log off remove from grid

    Once you log off from Grindr you should be removed from the discovery grid. Scruff does this and it is great when you don’t want to be seen in the area and just want to be off the app.

    Poderiam colocar um selo no perfil de quem faz tempo que está no grindr como dois ou três anos, assim o perfil seria visto como confiável e não um perfil fake

  6. Update GPS position when updating the grid on Android (swipe down)

    I always need to go to google maps to force the GPS location update, before updating the grid. It's a bit painful to do so, and a position refresh linked to the grid refresh would be nice.

  7. Less mobile data usage

    It appears to me that grindr uses a lot of data (eg easily dozens of MB per session, while other apps use only a few MB per session, similar usage behavior). This is a pain when traveling abroad or for people with limited mobile data.
    I think this could be either optimized (better caching, better workflow with optimized image compression etc) and/or advanced settings (eg optionally disable most images in mobile network, just use chat, as a data saver option).

    I would like for Grindr to implement stricter verification for new and existing users in an effort to combat underage individuals posing as adults, bots, etc. I've heard a number of stories of men who have chatted with individuals who they thought were of legal age, only to find out upon meeting them that they're some horny teen. I'm proposing the implementation of verification measures such as ID (Government issued, driver's license, passport, etc), bank account, submitting a facial selfie with a piece of paper visible displaying a verification code, email verification, as well as changing the age requirements to…

    Dica 1 - Está faltando filtro para pesquisar pessoas Goys, Demissexuais e Assexuais e também poder pesquisar por palavras chaves no explorar. Exemplo: pesquisar palavra "macho" ou "GP" ou "C local" ou ´´pass´´ ou etc... pois nem todo mundo preenche seu cadastro no app, mas coloca alguma referência do que é ou quer ou tem ou onde está no nome de perfil.   14. Messages not sending or receiving. Major bug. It needs an update

    This is a new bug affecting a lot of people. Sometimes reinstalling the app helps, but now the only fix for me personally is deleting my account and recreating if, until the issue happens again within a few hours.
