1. You've ruined this app

   I met my husband on this app 14 years ago. Boy how terrible it's become. Grindr is the epitome of late stage capitalism. Investors and PE have ruined this application, it's barely usable anymore. How tragic.. they've sold us out to the highest bidder in a race to the bottom. Why do we even use this app anymore? For the love of God, please fill this hole in the market with something thats actually usable. We deserve better...

4. Not paying for "have they read my message" & all other features that used to be FREE & STANDARD.

   Grindr keèps getting worse & worse along with being MEGA GREEDY by cutting back Standard Features then demanding you pay an arm, leg & dick $$$$ to go unlimited or extra or boost plus they though advertisement on the app so that it does not worth a damn. They need to go back 20+ rev.s back to their roots of why there was EVER a Grindr FOR GAY MEN. MOST of your customers will go to better apps SCRUFF & SNIFFIES WORKING ALOT BETTER just to name a few.

6. Keeping track of plans

   Is it possible to add like a 7 day calendar feature for a rolling 7 days where we could either add available times of someone we are interested in or planned meet ups and just linking their profile to the schedule? It just gets hard to keep track of the availability and plans if it’s more than a day or two away.

9. Bring back the block option please

   Hide option doesn't help at all.
   Sometime there are people who abuse you and bully you. but due to hide option you can't block them and they still can message you.
   so please bring back the block option for the safety reason

    ● Advertising is to intrusive & takes up WAY TO
    MUCH SPACE on my screen & don't need sound
    or ads that take me out of Grindr App
    ● Grindr more interested in $$$ NOT What started
    for "Helping GAY/BI/STR8 Men to meet up"
    ● IF Grindr wants to include Trans, Females, Str8
    Couples, Lesbians, Etc. PLEASE Do Create A
    Button for those of us that prefer NOT to be
    Shown or Hit On by their profiles.
    ● Why it there limits on # of Tags we can choose ?

16. Free version lockdown is lame, May 2025

    The new changes made this month on the free version of Grindr is ridiculous. App is now unusable unless you want to pay the grossly overpriced fees that many can’t afford.

    Shame on you Grindr. I’ll assist in developing a new app that is affordable and not limited for anyone that can’t afford huge monthly fees.

18. Gender feature

    I don’t understand why we can’t have a gender filter app. Every other dating app out there has it except this one. It makes no sense. I don’t understand why we can’t have a gender filter? This app is attracting different genders who specifically want people that aren’t men. There are women, men, trans women, trans men, and we all want different people!! The stupid tribe feature does nothing because not everyone uses it or and if they did it’ll still show them.

    I think there should be verification using ID and a selfie to verify that the person is legit. Will stop spam accounts and underage users from joining the app.
