Eliminate the "For You" section!
With my membership I can't even message these people. It's just a waste of space and the people are often 60 to 75 miles away. If not further away. Through the year or so it's been there, maybe longer, there's only been two or three people I was even interested in. Post some attractive people for goodness sakes.

Bots and Hookers
Ability to select more than 1 position. Everyone doesn't fit neatly into 1 category. - I prefer oral but I'm also vers so I'm stuck choosing side or versatile. And the mood and overall vibe kinda determines what's gonna ultimately happen.

No way to filter out trans
This morning 227/600 people on my grid were trans or cross dressers. Grindr can not claim their app is for “Gay dating and chat”. That’s false advertising right there…
I am a gay man looking for gay men and I cannot filter for that. I used to block trans and cross dressers from my grid and they took away the block function and hiding is useless because it takes up room on the grid.

Grindr, you need to get rid of hide and have only block hide don't work if we hide someone, their profile comes back the next day if we want to block someone we have to say hi or just type something in to block them

Spam and bots! I’m canceling my $300 per year subscription due to constant barrage of spam text, fishing messages, fake profiles. I’m also tired of grindr’s own erectile dysfunction ads. I pay for NO ADS. And. GIVE US OUR RACE FILTERS BACK…. I’m paying for a service and I should be able to filter what I’m attracted to. This app has really gone down hill. It’s not worth $300 a year anymore.

grids
The grid gets limited too quickly, I can't even see all the people in my town. Hiding should not intefere with grid size. Half my grid is ads. You are making this app so user-unfriendly, just to try and sell unlimited, which is crazy expensive... I want the grid size we used to have years ago back, please, I'm already on the lookout for an app to replace this one

Make a functional app.
Release an app that isn't an intentional complete POS. I will never give into your extortion and give you money. Absolutely pathetic how much you think this trash is worth too. Memory loss of taps
Right now on Grindr, taps just show up temporarily and then vanish, so you can’t see them later in your chat history. My idea is that taps shouldn’t send a new message, but they should still appear as an indicator inside the chat. That way, when you open a conversation with someone, you can see who sent a tap and when, giving you a clearer history of your interactions.

Bring Back the Block Feature
They NEED to bring back the block feature. I don't care if I haven't texted a person, I should be able to block another person. This has caused a lot of safety concerns as the hide feature doesn't work and I've had people text me who I don't want to interact with because they have threatened my safety. If I were to block them from the start, I wouldn't have them approach me. I could already have the step in protecting myself. The hide feature is quite dumb and doesn't hide anyone at all. lack of access without a subscription
If you don’t have a subscription it has gone down to only having access to 10 profiles. After that you have to pay. This is beyond ridiculous I don’t know what you’re trying to accomplish but you are pushing people away. We will find another app that is not as bad as you have become

Feature Request – Add Deezer integration
Hello,
I would like to suggest adding Deezer as a music integration option in Grindr profiles, similar to Spotify.
Many users, especially in countries like Brazil and parts of Europe, use Deezer as their main streaming platform. Adding this option would improve user experience and allow more people to express their music taste on their profiles.
Music is a great way to connect, and expanding beyond Spotify would make the platform more inclusive and engaging.

Visiting new places on the map
Can you please make this feature available anywhere i dont see the harm on making it allowed in so called lgtq non-friendly countries in fact i dont how doing so would inflict harm its simply for convienience sake so we can find better people to match with in places we plan on visiting how would that jeopordize others safety?
