Not being able to see more of the type i like
Free Fridays from 9pm to 2am everything us free as far who is on in the area to chat with. Plus it would drive up sales because the ones who met someone there gonna want to talk more than once a week

Is Grindr Supposed to be a Prostitution / Scam App?
... because literally 95% of users I've interacted with request money up front within 10 messages.
Is this okay with ya folks, or is there just a complete lack of oversight on community profiles? Because meeting people for anything legit is practically impossible on the app right now.

Adding more tags
I think adding more tags or even like scruff where you can search a specific kink is a good idea. For example choking.

Easy way to reblock people
Create a way to reblock all previously blocked if accidently unblocked all (within a short time frame). I meant to unblock one person only And unblocked everyone.

Im dune with grindr it getting worse by the minute
Im done with grindr it getting worse by the minute the location distance is way off from Google maps grinder, need to stop with all the updates all the updates is making it glitchy all you grinder users need to switch to hornet app or jacked app way better than grinder

Delete Unresponsive Messages
My inbox is full of messages from people didn't respond, as I'm sure others are too. It would be nice to have a function to delete these messages either auto delete or a filter to more easily locate the messages to delete them. This is a win win situation for users and Grindr. User has a leaner inbox experience and Grindr servers aren't logging messages that never got a response.

Essay length
My full profile essay is not showing. Only the first line. Why? It always did before. If that's a new thing you have to pay to upgrade, that's bad business and major obstacle to use the site effectively

Mock locations prohibited
Guys please allow the use of mock locations again. If this means we have to verify through a phone number like with scruff then that's fine. I can't date for almost 3 months now via grindr cause you guys are blocking the use of mock locations. I get the whole safety stuff but this is not the way to deal with that. Please guys 💔

Couple Profile Linking
Allow a person to link another person’s Grindr profile to their own for couples. Just like how you can add a relationship on Facebook and the other person has to approve it before it’s displayed on both profiles the link.

DL feature to disable native alert
There should be a switch for “DL” users to disable the native notification alerts and sounds. For instance, when this switch is enabled, the sounds when sending or receiving messages should be the default sounds for your phone, not the Grindr sounds. This can allow very discreet users to have their notifications turned on without worrying about being exposed.
Or there can be radio options in the settings to choose what sounds or ringtone we want for Grindr:

Face confirmation
Grindr should require a face scan to confirm its you in the photos you're posting to avoid scams on their app. Every other dating app does this.

Roaming locations should stay on. That shouldn't be up for debate or discussion
I just spent the WHOLE ENTIRE morning talking to a guy a d it was all going well, five hours later, he finally says he lives in South America, and he had no distance to indicate this on his profile. I could have been doing so many other things aside from chatting with someone I'll never meet. I'm so pissed off right now.

You’re charging WAYYYY too much money. It makes the app less worth while for those who do pay as well. So it’s like why pay at all?

Finding your type is challenging enough without the added burden of high subscription costs. It feels unfair to force an entire generation, many of whom cannot afford an expensive app, to struggle in their search for companionship. The high subscription fees make it difficult for free users to justify the cost, especially when they receive so few features in return.
Not everyone has the financial means to purchase a subscription. By charging such high prices, you inadvertently make it harder for people from all demographics to find partners who match their physical and lifestyle preferences. In the…5 votes
