  2. The app bugs a lot

    On top of my head: location not updating, chats not loading, delay in answers, notifications sent multiple times for a same message or tap, online/offline status not correct, photos appear as black background, etc etc. v24.6.1 iPhone 14 Pro.

  4. Face-hiding time wasters.

    Assign unique, easy-to-remember (perhaps AI-generated) graphic to each account at creation. Think nature-scene, or modern art piece.

    Prohibit change after account creation.

    Force use of said graphic when no photo is offered, perhaps even make it a pic that can't be unshared.

    Make it easier to detect time wasters, so you needn't spend an hour typing to realize you are once again communicating with amorphous blob that your brain still has no visual reference for....

    Please PERMANENTLY BAN all "escorts" and prostitutes from the platform. It's really not helpful for users to have their time wasted by these "reward" seekers. Grindr is described as a "Dating" app, not a place for escorts/prostitutes to promote their "services". So many operating on the app, please sort it out quickly to make it better for genuine users.

    I’ve been using this app for various years now and I think I could say I have a fair understanding of how it works. I’ve noticed there’s not a lot of options when it comes to chubbier guys. There’s no “chub” or “chaser” tribe. Just things such as “bears” and “otters” is the closest we can get. Let’s be honest, being a bigger person in this app is already hard enough as it is.   10. Messages doesn't load

    You should consider going back on the updates because the new changes are just not working at all. The grid doesn't update regularly and the Messages are not just working. The app makes them dissaoesr. The read but unanswered messages stay as unread and the chat ins not showing the full conversations. The messages list refreshes or flashes in a useless way.

  14. Increase the limit for characters in a username

    There isn't enough space for a username if someone ever wants to make theirs longer than 15 words. So why can't the character limit be increased because at the moment we don't get much things we can use to express ourselves in terms of our usernames yet its an LGBT app where people should be able to do so. Get this solved Grindr we deserve better.

    Boa tarde. Seria interessante a possibilidade de fazer o chamado teletransporte. O aplicativo não está oferecendo segurança adequada no quesito privacidade. Não podemos abrir no trabalho para não ser perseguidos e até demitidos.
    Usar a possibilidade de alterar a localização seria uma das melhorias mais significativas. Poderia ser inclusive uma ferramenta adicional a assinantes do aplicativo.
