Add Verified User System to Reduce Fake Profiles and Scams
Lately, I’ve noticed a growing number of fake or suspicious accounts on Grindr. Many of them send taps or messages but never reply, often using repeated photos or empty profiles. PolyTrack makes it hard to trust real connections and increases the risk of scams or catfishing.
Issues observed:
Too many unverified profiles are sending spam or fake messages.
Reports about fake users often take a long time to process or get no feedback.
No visible verification mark to identify real people.
Suggested improvements:
Add an optional or required photo/ID verification system.
Introduce a verified badge for real accounts.

Add a Verified Trust Badge to Reduce Fake and Spam Accounts
I suggest adding a verified trust badge system on Grindr to make Among Us app safer and more transparent.
Many users are frustrated by fake profiles, catfishing, and spam. A simple verification feature — like an optional photo or ID check — could help build real connections while protecting genuine users.
This badge could appear on verified profiles and increase confidence during chats or meetups. Privacy should stay a priority, but trust and safety are essential for our community.

Do something about the spam!
After about 10+ years having a Grindr subscription, I have decided to cancel it because literally there is nothing but trans spam, gay spam, straight spam and go to this site spam, OF spam…so why pay for an app that can’t figure out how to verify real people. Losing subscribers left and right I’m sure…sad…

Stop showing profiles from 37 miles away in my feed as if they’re a mile away!!
I’m constantly getting profiles from 37-41 miles away mixed into my local feed. Meanwhile nearby guys are pushed down below the premium features line. Why are you doing this? Been happening for several weeks. I see no way that I can change this, so it seems to be a new nuisance feature to annoy me into purchasing the premium services.

Just delete socials on profiles. They're only used for spam anyway.
Grindr seems unable, or uninterested in dealing with the huge amount of spam that is increasingly filling the app. Constant recreation of fake accounts that stay up for days after reporting.
All of these accounts rely on linking their social media accounts and sending people to those links. Almost no genuine account needs to link their social media.
Just delete the social fields from profiles and set up better text filters for profile text.

There are way too many ads and you have to go through hurdle after hurdle just to get rid of them
Too many ads and you have to go through too many hurdles so that you can get back on Grindr also remove the taps they are annoying they are from people thousands of miles away and these people are fishing for something and grinder is aware of that

I'm not happy with the way Favourites are being displayed after your recent alteration. I can no longer see their distance nor can I see if they've gone offline. Can you please either reinstate the previous version or at least make it optional. Many thanks.

Too bad you weren't more concerned about your websites performance, than cramming pop ups down our throats, then wanting us to pay to get rid of the pop ups, with a freaking popup!!!

Hello Grindr leadership! Let's get Grindr into merchant services. Whether it's going out on a date or in need lube, it would be convenient to exchange money on the app in my chat. Dating gets chaotic when we have to launch so many apps, call Lyft, and keep my hunny interested all the while. I want to offer rideshare in app as well.

STOP removing features from the paid version of Grindr unless you’re going to lower the price of subscription.
Why the fuck am I paying the same price this month as a did last month but now for fewer features? Last month when I used the travel feature, I could chat with as many people as I wanted, now I’m limited to 5 despite the fact I’m still paying for it??? FUCK that and FUCK you. Cancelled my subscription the MOMENT I spotted that bullshit. Stop removing features from your paid tiers if you don’t plan on dropping that already ridiculous price

Fake profiles
Get your IT department to get rid of all the fake profiles currently plaguing Grindr. I have just blocked about 7 located nearby. It doesn't matter how many times I block these fake profiles they keep reappearing. Please do something about this.

Taps free again
The app is getting worse, the chat is always delayed and many times they mix profile pictures and names. Then it crushes all the time, but now is getting even more expensive each update!? Now IF I WANT TO SEE MY TAPS I HAVE TO PAY? wtf
