2. Stop ads for Freddie and Woodwork etc in xtra paying accounts!

   I pay for Xtra so I DO NOT SEE ADS and yet you’re often interrupting me with Freddie and Woodwork and other ads. STOP! This is against your OWN TERMS of the Xtra account which says “No ads”. Do you need us to report this to the Feds or will you take care of this ASAP!

5. Full screen audio ads, Literally never

   Never do that again. Are you insane?! AN AUDIO AD ON GRINDR? NO.

   I pay not to have ads first of all. I can just use scruff. Remove all audio ads from this platform for everyone, and all ads for your paid tiers.

6. Make the app actually work

   Since the last update the app is worse than before. Extremely unresponsive. Messages being sent but not shown at all. Receiving 3 notifications for the same tap and no notifications for messages, or notifications after 3 minutes the message was sent. Taps appearing after 10 minutes. The current update on iphone has made it even less responsive than before with huge delays even when sending a simple message.

7. Please normalize to restrict and ban someone do caption "NPNC".

   Please banned someone do the captions of NPNC or NPNR. NPNC means (No picture no chat) and NPNC (No picture no reply). The most concerned problem about this is because so many immature user when trading picture would block other user. I believe it is okay if the user used NPNC or NPNR terms, but perhaps they could reject by saying directly. So, it easy for other user to accept that they are not the types for the NPNC or NPNC user. I once do that, apparently after I gave my picture I got blocked by that person. As a result, it is affected to my mental health. I got anxious everytime when i tried just saying hi and then became to trauma. I hope grindr is not just about looking for fun and entertainment. But it is also a place where healthy online activity still maintained. can you just imagine how many innocent new user trying to join the Grindr and all of sudden become a victim of those evil act of fake or someone we dont know? I hope Grindr got new feature to considered this issue. I speak the truth because so many selects people trying to do this withouth considering about someone's health condition.

9. Gender filter

   Grindr used to be an app for gay men. Now, half the profiles I see are women. I'm a gay man. I have no way to filter out the women. This is a basic setting in most apps, but somehow seems to be missing on grindr. Either give us a gender filter or bring back the block button so I can block the women so I don't see them anymore.

12. Feature Request: Minimum Account Age Filter & One-Tap Spam Reporting

    I'd like to suggest two improvements to reduce spam and bot messages.

    The problem
    A large share of the messages I receive come from brand-new accounts: bots, scammers, fake profiles or people who get banned and simply create a new account. Blocking and reporting them one by one doesn't help, because new ones appear every day.

    1. "Minimum account age" filter
       Let users choose that only accounts older than a set period can message them:

       • Off (default): current behavior
       • 7 days
       • 14 days
       • 30 days

    Messages from newer accounts are either not delivered or moved to a separate "New accounts" folder that I can check if I want to.

    1. One-tap spam reporting Reporting a spam account currently takes far too many taps and screens. Please add a direct shortcut, e.g. long-press a chat or swipe → "Report as spam" → done. The account should be blocked and the chat removed in the same step.

    Users aren't responsible for bots on the platform. As a paying subscriber, I shouldn't have to spend extra time and effort cleaning them up. The least the app can do is make reporting them effortless.

    Why this matters

    • Stops most bots and spam accounts, which are usually created and used within hours or days
    • Makes ban evasion much less effective
    • Faster reporting means more reports, which gives you better data to detect bots
    • Improves safety and reduces scam attempts
    • Opt-in only: new users can still contact everyone who hasn't enabled the filter

13. I feel that extra members should have the incognito feature.

    For the amount of money we pay a month app users who pay for the extra features should at least have incognito. There are times where I just want to cruise around and be nosy without the hassle of getting hit up by stalkers. we literally pay 20 and change a month to basically have the same features as a regular user. It’s not fair..

    I don't want to see profiles without pictures so i use the filter option "Has photos" lately i see an increase of profiles with totallay useless drawings... Please filter that a stupid drawing is no picture

18. Please disallow fake, bot, AI, and scam profiles. My feed is full of them. It's massively diluting the search pool.

19. Price gauging

    The prices of the upgraded tiers are unreasonably high, as well as gouging the gay community. Offer the upgrades to basic members by asking them to watch a video, instead of annoyingly forcing them to see ads while they are in the middle of a conversation. Length of time or number of ads scaled to the value of the service

    Letting us filter who we see by what other's have listed as "into" as a larger man i understand im not everybodys first choice. It would be nice to filter it so we could see people who would be interested in us instead of haveing to surch through every profile
