There is a lot of fake profiles asking for only fans of is what they call it saying if you join my only fans we can hookup it's annoying they need to be banned or something

Merge reporting and blocking together
while blocking is vital for safety, many, many, many use it to spread hate/avoid rejection/punish/silent treatment. Doing it so without a real danger/threat leads to resentment..creating and continuing the hazardous cycle of stalking/obsessing.
So merging these two features could filter out the reasons to actually block someone, not just an impulse or bad interaction. We more than anybody would benefit from kindness to heal our long number of wounds that discrimination has done. One of them avoidant behavior, not opening up also.
Instead of blocking can Grindr act in our behalf and give us an option to let down politely…1 vote -

Privacy: Option to prevent "Recently Joined" to contact you.
Ever had someone message you and come across very strongly? So strongly that it's makes you uncomfortable & after saying you're not interested for a 2nd time, you report and block them; only for them to return over and over with a new account 'Recently Joined'.
Reporting the account doesn't help in this instance, with the infinite recreation of a new one.The ability to block recently joined accounts from contacting would be a great option to prevent this type of abuse.

So many Trans!! Why don’t Grindr create an app specifically for trans people and people who like them. You might can charge some people twice! Men who are only looking for trans or vise versa and get hit on by a GAY MAN (what I thought Grindr was created for) they don’t have to block them.
I just don’t understand!!!! They came out of the wood work! 75% of my blocks or hides are trans WOMEN, again I thought Grindr was for GAY MEN.

Tags displayed in the local language are necessary to ensure user safety regarding the profiles they choose to access and communicate with.

Bring back distance based home page
The homepage was based on location and the closer someone is, it’s closer to the top of the page, now there’s no option to chose to change it to shuffle or bring it back and profiles are just appearing shuffle by default, then distance doesn’t make any sense to have if you don’t know who is closer and that’s the base of the interaction… what’s the point then?

Make position something you can change daily quickly based on your mood. Top, bottom etc is not a character trait it’s a mood.

That you screen stays put and locked wherever you are at the moment after you pressing (press) enter!!
When you are typing a reaction and you have many others still to respond to (within the same chat) It is extremely annoying that every time you have pressed enter to respond, that the whole chat scrolls down towards that response!! Especially if you have to scroll back up every time again to look up all the other messages you have missed and want to respond to!! Ask WhatsApp/ Mark Zuckerberg how you guys can figure that out?? Because WhatsApp and CO they figured that function out by now for years!!
