once texted somebody, the app should give an indicator that the person has been texted not just in the last 24 hours, but historically so that sometimes when we like somebody very much and they don’t like us back, we know that we shouldn’t text him again because they're clearly not interested but when we don’t know the person has texted or not, we end up replying to their profile pictures, or giving a tap, even though we have already reached out to them before and been ignored, and that makes us look a lot more desperate and makes the…

Why Grindr is asking me to boost my profile? What's the reason to boost my profile? I don't even use Grindr much these months cause tired of it. I don't want many people see my profile cause I am very discreet and don't want to date neither. Also you boost your profile and nobody wants to date. Why you gonna waste your cash on this useless feature.

Allow a user to be able to set distance parameter for whom they are seeing. Meaning that I only want to see users who are within a set distance from me. And likewise for users who see me so we don’t waste our time viewing people outside of our desired location radius.

Make it seamless to log in to Grindr account on a different Apple account
I’m moving over to a new Apple account and although I was pleasantly surprised to find out I can log back into my account I’ve found I have to lose all my chats and wait till my previous subscription ends on my old Apple account to take out a new subscription. Grindr should dissociate Apple accounts with Grindr accounts as many people using Grindr may not be able to always sign in with the same Apple account. Also sync messages between Devices and back up chats on your servers not on iCloud.

Grindr software allows punks to madly swipe thru dozens of members in mere minutes each time hitting their pre-type. That's why nobody responds in a timely manner. They're still swiping and haven't looked yet to see who responded to their "business" proposal.

Ability to hide or disabled the “viewed you” counter at the top right of the app.
Imagine you are an 18 year old guy, new to the app. You can see 120 guys have viewed you but you’ve only received messages for 2 guys. Some people will internalise that as “wow, that means 118 guys don’t find me attractive. I must be so ugly”. I think it’s very dangerous for peoples mental health. Personally, I’d rather not know how many people have viewed me.

Your ads on the free version are too annoying. I'm considering deleting the app over it, as it actively prevents app use.
Seriously, I can't open the app without two full screen ads opening, which require waiting to dismiss, and are made to intentionally encourage misclicks and as opening. I get why Grindr would do that, but it's annoying to the point of inability to use the app, and sooner or later, I'll get frustrated enough to just delete it. Please go back to your old, more reasonable ads.

Limited access for unpaid members
Not everyone can afford the multiple services Grindr has on its app. For years, Grindr has been no 1 for gay dating and hookups. But like everything else, it is fast becoming limited in use.
Again, access to at least 100 profiles should be warranted. The advertisers I m sure cover much of Grinders profits and can easily continue serving the gay and bi communities without harsh limitations.16 votes -
Equality in profile pictures
I'm always finding super revealing pictures on other people's profiles. I don't think all the moderators approve the same quality of pictures. Some profiles can have super revealing pictures on their profile, while other profiles can only have mild pictures when it comes to body and nudity. So can we just have equality all across the board here??

Toggle between pinned and unpinned messages
I have many pinned profiles. As you press the messages icon at the bottom of the screen, it would be great if it toggled between the start of both pinned and unpInned messages, rather than manually having to swipe between! Thanks

Add more taps emoji
Add more emojis to send. As example: thank but not my Type. Because Grindr folks love to to simply not reacting. For that the pre-existing Taps are cool to find out if the Person is responding.
