No ethnicity filter
I will not be renewing my membership once it expires. I’ve only had one 3 month membership, and that is long enough to see that it was a waste of money. While I live in an area that is predominantly POC, I’m not. I have many friends of color, but I’m simply not attracted to them in a sexual way. Some POC even agree with me that that they have their own preferences. I would like to be able to filter out the profiles that I’m not going to look at anyway. There is nothing racist about this. I’m just…

Website looks like it was by made in 1986. Too many ads. Prices are too high. C’mon now. In this economy?
Too many ads make it frustrating to use. It makes me angry because I’m not here for o watch ads every 3.6 minutes.

footprint
hello!
Starting a few hours ago, the footprint function doesn't work properly. The footprints only work after writing a message to that profile. Before writing a message, the footprint function doesn't work, especially when checking the profile initially.
best regards!

Find a better app
Grindr just admitted to me that blocking all the fakes and professional profiles is absolutely useless,as they will reappear and it's designed that way. What are we doing here? It's time for someone to build an app that we deserve.

Zero Knowledge Encryption?
It appears that Grindr is transitioning to server side cloud storage of message content however there hasn't been any clarification in the privacy policy of how this data will be protected. Given the highly intimate nature of Grindr interactions and the historical marginalization and criminalization of the homosexual community, it’s existential to the Grindr business model that identity and message content can only be accessed by the 2 intended parties. Otherwise lack of trust and confidence will eventually cause cancellations. This seemingly was not an issue earlier, when messages were end-to-end encrypted and stored on device.

Verified profile option
Allow users optionally to verify their profile and show that on their profile. As tinder and other apps do. That will reduce catfishing and will create safer place for people to engage.
Thank you

Make Web version available to all for free.
Some of us live in dangerous areas and/or in the closet.
We cannot DOWNLOAD the APP on our PHONES and risk getting caught; THEREFORE make the WEB VERSION available to all for free.
For once quit being CUNTS. It is very Crucial and important, UNDERSTAND THAT this is a matter of life or death to some us. LITERALLY.7 votes -
Report blocked
I met a guy. He blocked me after met.
I check my wallet, so he stole my cash from my wallet.
How can I report that account that already blocked me?42 votes -
Block
The blocking method is terrible, having to go from profile to profile to block those you are not interested in, still waiting for a message to come out. It should be able to select and block several at once, many people complain about this in the application
