Edit messages
Have you ever sent a message and noticed that there are grammar issues or you missed adding a word? How about auto correct messed your sentence up?
How great would it be to be able to tap and hold your message to reveal and edit option much like Facebook messenger or iMessage?

Albums should be viewable on Grindr Web
Currently, you can't view albums shared with you on Grindr Web. This is ridiculous.
Make this functionality available.

Introduce Ethicity/Race filter again!
Sometimes I’m in the mood for oranges sometimes I’m in the mood for grapefruit. Sometimes I don’t care but it’d be nice to have an option to filter out grapefruit if I want oranges as a personal preference. Otherwise I have to go through all oranges trying to find a grapefruit. If someone doesn’t like this filter they don’t have to use it.

Sound when sending message
When sending a message, there's a sound that you can't turn off. If I'm trying to use the app discretely, I don't want my phone to make a sound when I send someone a message. There needs to be a simple way to simply turn off this sent message sound. I can control the sound the app makes when receiving a message, but not the sent message sound. That should change.

Remove Ads
Three part ads after every profile view. This app has become worse than ever before. Do the idiots running it not know how to satisfy users or are they trying to chase us. Money grabbing assholes that's all they care about.

Research
That would be great to be able to look for a key word in a chat and find more easily a conversation. It is very boring not to be able to find a conversation after few days

Delete Multiple Messages at Once
Swiping each and every message that you wanna delete, one by one, is so time consuming. Being able to hold and press and click and delete multiple messages at once would be a much needed feature.

Notification Settings Reminders
I, and I'm sure many others, leave Grindr notifications turned off on purpose.
Partially because I find them annoying, and partially to avoid weird notifications popping up at inopportune times.
The constant reminders that notifications are turned off and that I can change it in settings is kinda infuriating, I KNOW that they are turned off I turned them off! Please just disable these reminders or stop them after a couple reminders, it adds another intrusive layer on top of the ads (which I understand and am not complaining about) for not a lot of reason1 vote
