I think there should be some identification tag on all messages either get on your cant message someone
To many ways to send messages with out identity . Can cause alot of problems if you don't know who your. Talking to and you just end up not trusting apps security

Allowing verification code to be sent to a TextNow phone number because some people don't have a working line of phone service provider
My phone service provider through Life Wireless has expired and I'm using a TextNow phone number that requires wifi. I don't understand why it's an issue sending a verification code to a TextNow number, or even send it to the email provided upon sign-up.

“Taps” are fucking stupid.
“Taps” are one of the dumbest fucking things…besides the expensive upgrade. lol profiles near me says 33 miles away and the next profile is 1037 ft away from me…ads are irrelevant and plentiful…messages appear 30 minutes after someone has sent it to your profile…anybody can report you…because you ask them to fuck off…and you expect someone to pay for this shit?

Can't see who viewed my profile after boosting my account anymore
It is no longer possible to see who viewed my profile after boosting my account (it used to be possible until recently).
To me, the main purpose of boosting my profile was to gain more visibility and connect with people who had viewed it. Today, after boosting my profile, I only received a few extra chats. Since it's no longer possible to see who viewed my profile, I can't contact them, so I don't see the point of boosting anymore.
Basically "boosting" now simply means paying to wait for people to send me a message. What's the point? I will…

Why has blocking people become so unnecessarily complicated? It used to take just two clicks, but now it’s four, with a huge popup and even more steps. On top of that, I already spend so much time filtering out profiles I’m not interested in, like trans women or men with long hair or cross dressers in women’s clothing. It’s frustrating and makes the app feel less appealling to get on. For a service I’m paying extra for, this decline in functionality is unacceptable. Bring back chat backup
The old chat backup worked perfectly. This new message sync is making the app very unstable, erratic and unusable. On top of that none of the messages back up well. On the other party's messages are backed up or 'synced'. Whereas I as the sender lose all my messages. I also can't view albums or view once pictures.

What the fuck is Grindr doing? I'm a programmer and run an end-to-end Internet service company, and could do something better in my sleep at a far,far, less cost which wouldn't be passed onto members in the form of ad placement EVERYWHERE which renders the application unusable. So you have to charge fucking $25/wk for....what? I don't know because there is no trial. Offer lower cost for unlimited
