1. End the extremely long mobile game ads.

These ads are way too long and intrusive. All they do is make me quit the app immediately to get rid of it. Ads should be no longer than 5 secs and it’s the same game ad every damn time. This has to be the most annoying thing about Grindr. I understand the free platform needs ads to support itself but this ruins the user experience and I think there are better ways to handle longer ads. Maybe start them after the splash page and ask if you would like to view one long ad to avoid a series of shorter ads during your use time. If the goal is to get us to pay so we don’t have them, you’ve lost me because I would never give money to a squeeze like this.

Im paying a very high price for unlimited, yet the app is so god damn shit. Please change it soon or your losing a customer

What is painfully annoying me is trying to find people in my area. And this app is only showing a select few, but then show loads and loads of people from like 30/40/50 -100 miles away. Its ridiculous.

Id like for it to be changed so that it shows all the grindr users within a 15 mile radius from where I am, or from the location that ive selected and also have the option of increasing the distance

Also the cost of premium is way too high, you as a business would benefit greatly and make a lot more money if you were to reduce your subscription costs significantly and making it more affordable to many more people

9. Make your free version better

Your free version sucks and the flashing ads are giving me seizures. I realize you need to make money but can't you make a little less? I'm sure you would have more customers to make up the difference. The free version is unusable so do SOMETHING!

14. Remove "unlock all with unlimited message"

Ever since the latest update(s) my "INTEREST" tab shows this message at the bottom: "unlock all with unlimited". I'm already able to view all because I have unlimited but the message will not disappear even after tapping on it one time and declining the upgrade. I already have unlimited and the message is annoying. Please turn it off for your unlimited subscribers.

15. Boost is BULLSHIT

The new Boost feature is utter bullshit. People pay a few to appear at the top of other people's grids? Okay... so they're paying to take up space on the grid that could be occupied by other people who are closer? That's utter shit.

If you don't pay for xtra or unlimited, you only have a certain number of available people on the grid anyway so having them taken up by people who are 3 miles away is shit. But then if you ARE paying for Grindr, it's also out of order that just because somebody paid a tiny fee to appear at the top of your grindr grid, then your experience is now marred by these people who are MILES away. Grindr, fix this. It's annoying AF.

16. low flat rate

ta know if you were to charge everyone a flat rate of just $5. per month, to access all the profiles on their grid, (extra and unlimited) you would make more money, wouldn't have as much spam, everyone would have access to more profiles, and the app would operate much smoother. without breaking anyone's budget...
