5. Less intrusive ads

   Currently, the ads are very intrusive, which hinders a good browsing experience. If I compare Grindr with Scruff, Scruff is definitely better because it has a better user experience since its ads are located in a specific section.

6. Reoorting Only fans

   Everyday I was getting tapped by people with a profile that started with TS and it had the same girls picture on it they just started changing up the picture on it but when I go to report it I would report the four of them cuz it always come in fours, Then I thought I would go and look in the explorer map area for profile switch if we want to contact one we would get one a day to look we used to get three but I kept coming across more the TS profiles and I reported four one day and then another four and then all of a sudden I was blocked on looking at profiles in the explorer map area like one of the moderators got mad because he had to look into the all these profiles that I reported a total of maybe 12 or 13 with the TS profile almost the same picture different poses of the same girl.
   I'm just trying to make grinder safer in and better for people with these get these only fans people off of here and then there's these I'm looking for a a baby to give fourth K2 and to pay off their debt I report all those I figured going into the explore map area and getting ahead of the game and reporting the rest of them you can maybe go compare the IP but now grinder is blocked me from even going in that area where we used to get at least look at one profile in contact one free per day what we used to get three before that and five before that and now you can't even look at the profiles what's the point?? You take your beta testers and you just screw them. Maybe I'll just get rid of grinder altogether
   These profiles would tap you and then drag you into a conversation and then slowly bring up the only fans and then you report them so I went ahead and reported the TS profiles because if you check out the ones that I reported from 2 months ago to now you'll see that it's the same pictures the same people doing the only fans and I just want to try to get ahead of that to maybe you could compare the IPS or something to ban them for good to make grinder better and then you punish me by taking away my explore maps of the only one a day I had where we used to have three.. pathetic

7. For privacy reasons we need to be able change the theme of the app

   As a gay man from a country that criminalizes homosexuality it could be deadly to be recognized in the public, thus we can't use the app in public i fear of someone recognizing the apps theme which again can be fatal for our lives.

8. Grindr an app for Gay Men please.

   Please either enable a filter to remove women and transgender people from the grid or just create a space for them. Can we gay men have something just for ourselves please? Is that too hard? Or we as gay men are obliged to give up our few safe spaces in order to be politically correct and be aligned with social justice?

   Grindr is barely usable as it is right now with excessive ads, it’s fucking expensive and it’s also ridden with non gay men. This app is dying.

9. Distance Filter missing is Usability Issue

   Now that your grid can be filtered by Favorites/Online, for example, if you keep scrolling you accidentally message somebody who is 1,000 miles away. Depending on how many people fit the filters you use, some people will be close but others (especially if their distance is hidden) could be very far away. It makes it awkward and confusing for both parities. Adding a distance filter is a requirement for making the app work properly.

    Simple — add more characters to the bio. This isn’t Twitter. Grindr charges more than all of the other apps and limits your expression more than all of the other apps. Is this intentional? Why limit speech and expression?

    Grindr is the most EXPENSIVE dating app, compared to Jack'D, SCRUFF, SNIFFIES, HINGE, GROWLER, just to name a few. I understand this is a business first, but after reading over the comments and being aware of the current republican Administrations assault on the economy, you have the chance to be on the right side of history. Cut prices and stop removing features from the free version. its ridiculous. The app beginning to attract one type of person. It's a fact that white men make higher wages then their non-white counterparts. It is clear as day that a large amount of paid users are largely of one racial group. You are pricing out Latinos amd browns who are equally qualified dont make as much as their white counterparts. Someone who paid attention in school better than i did might find a civil rights violation in that opinion. But I digress We need to all come together not farther apart be remembered as the company that slashed prices in an effort to bring gay men together at a divided time. Also Sniffies is 30 bucks cheaper and almost no adds Is really stiff competition! Your failing miserably you should ask for advice from their team . 14. Its too difficult to manuever within the app. Not user friendly

    Instead of putting msgs, a-list, shared albums all under the same icon, plus having to manage msgs coming through. Etc. A lighter version I guess.

18. Search Within Conversations

    It would be really helpful to have a search function within individual conversations. When you've been chatting with someone for a while, finding an old message, username, location, or other detail can be difficult.

    A simple search bar that lets users search the messages in a conversation would make the app much easier to use, especially for longer conversations.
