1. Status/Availability on profile

   Being able to set your Status/Availability as a setting on your profile, so people know whether you're looking to chat/have fun, or not looking, so they don't message you when you're not looking.

   Including options such as...

   Available
   Not looking
   Idle
   Do Not Disturb
   No Status

   Have it be clearly visible. It could simply be an icon next to the green dot. Like a pair or eyes for looking, or a stop sign for Do Not Disturb. Or replace the green dot system itself, each status having their own colour. For example, Green for available/online, Orange for not looking, Red for Do Not Disturb, etc.

   Pretty needed feature I think, that'll help many people who just simply want to come online just to check in/message one specific guy, but instead get bombarded with dozens of messages from guys nearby looking for fun. Then them all getting dissapointed, and thinking you're ghosting them, just because you didn't want reply to them at that moment.

4. Report Cyberflashing

   There should be an option to report Cyberflashing (sending nude photos without consent). The "Accept NSFW Pics" category is set to "Not At First" on my profile, but people don't always respect this. An option should be available to those people who don't respect this.

   As a preventative option, how about at least show a warning within the app before sending a photo, depending on what option people have selected for "Accept NSFW Pics"?

   This app is notorious for torso pics. I’ve been on it on and off it since it’s inception. In Jan 2023, Instagram formally edited their bilaws to accept “protest” as a reason to allow all nipples, meaning roughly, that even that family-friendly app allows the nudity of women’s nipples so long as you add the hashtag #freethenipple. I’m a trans woman who transitioned btwn 25 and 31. Years ago I could do a headless pic, no problem, now I’m using iPhone tech to edit out my nipples on photos for this app more than I am Twitter or Insta or Snapchat. To prove it, I posted the photo that I asked to moderate here—I’m in green, nipples showing slightly through a mesh bodysuit—to my Insta, Gigiravine, with the aforementioned hashtag four hours ago. It’s still posted at time of posting this, but that same photograph here is inappropriate? I kinda figured that a company marketed to LGBTQ+ individuals might have a bit of a more of an inclusive attitude than meta.

Credo che una diminuzione del costo di circa il 25, 30% per il mensile o l'annuale, porterebbe molti più abbonamenti e farebbe superare di gran lunga il vostro attuale fatturato perché dovete puntare sulla quantità visto che sulla qualità avete ancora molto da fare. 13. Search parameter clipped at distance

    So it seems recently that depending on how many people fit into your specific sort of parameters within a three mile radius, that's all you get before you have to pay for more. If I use zero search parameters I can get maybe 80-90 people depending how densely populated the area is. If I do, say 'Online Now' at the time I'm searching in the same area, it's 30 to 35. If I do a search for one position, it's 12. I don't mind paying for a little bit more search flexibility, but it seems like before it was capped at a certain number of profiles you can see instead of certain distance. Once again, this smacks of strong arming people into buying subscriptions. Not the way to coax people to enjoy what you're trying to put out there

16. Reverse the latest update (May 2023)

    The latest update done on the 18th of May is ridiculous. Stop making Grindr a social networking looking like Facebook with overloaded profile page. Graphic design of the profile is overloaded, too much unnecessary stuff: I do not need icons (I can read and do not need a symbol of ruler to know that it is physical parameters); categories (stats/expectations etc) are really not necessary - I simple list of items is enough; speach bubble around "about me" is just weird. It all looks very childish and is far away from the purposes of this app.
    So please keep it simple and stop doing "improvements" just to make any improvement regardless of convenience of the users.

17. Do NOT update filter UI. Revert back to how it has been for years!

    The profile filters have always been accessed by swiping from right to left. This brings up a list of filters such as online now, age, position, height, weight, etc. Now these same filters are being implemented in a different location (at the top of the app). The new UI is extremely cluttered and a pain to work with. If it ain't broke don't fix it! Instead of changing the UI, why don't you just FIX and ELIMINATE all the countless bugs this app has instead? That would be something that would be extremely beneficial. I feel like I'm preaching to the choir though. I already know the filter list on the right side is going away very soon. It's only a matter of time.
