Let me limit who can message me based on distance
99% of the spam I get is from profiles thousands of kilometres away (and this spam has increased dramatically recently). I also am not really interested in chatting with people who are thousands of kilometres away, that's not the point of grindr for me. It would be great to have an option where I could set a max distance for who gets to contact me. It would reduce most of my spam and also help to ensure that the people I'm talking to are more likely to actually be real people that are near me, so an improvement for safety…

Friend request and profile sharing
While subscribed to Xtra it would a great benefit to have an option of adding friends instead of just having favourites and by being an Xtra subscriber you should then be allowed to send and share another members profile with your friend who would be attracted to them. By sharing the profile the member who receives should be able to message them even if they are out of range or country.
By sharing other people’s profiles this allows a more broad selection of men.

App has bug. Almost never can view profile photos

I have lots of pinned chat- when I chat to someone new that will end up at the bottom of it, that means I have to scroll down constantly-
Create a mechanism which push the new chat at the beginning on top of the pinned chat at least while starting chatting-
If not longer engaging the chat can be pushed down at the end unless is pinned2 votes -

Hide/remove/unshare album shared with you
Oftentimes I receive albums that I do not wish to see. It would be nice to be able to remove those from view or “unshare” the album on their behalf. Maybe can include a little notification in the chat for the other user that said “X stopped viewing your album” that would be fine

Access to the chat of the profile from the album view.
The user should be able to get access to the chat from the album owner when they tap on the profile avatar when they access the album from the album view.

Glitches
It feels like I’m dealing with some sort of old computer that you have to hit three times to get it to work, but no, this is the newest version of this app. Albums currently not working for new profiles for me, sometimes messaging just won’t send because you have to restart the app, and I’ve even had to restart my phone because sometimes the app will freeze as soon as you get on. Please just fix these problems.

fake profiles sending messages; and probably harming real API guys in the process
Four of the last 20 messages I've received (20%) are from profiles that clearly belong to people who are running scams. The pattern is consistent. Usually the person is much farther away than other profiles (i.e., 4 miles, compared to 1-2), most commonly the profile photo is of someone of Asian descent, and the opening line is always something like "what are you looking for on here?" (which would be clear if they read my profile). No matter what you respond with, you get a message back that says something like "I'm looking for friends and a deep relationship with…

Not being able to click & open profiles on the Who's Viewed Me feature except on Unlimited
Make the Viewed Me feature free for Xtra members at least...having to have Unlimited to access this is sheer greed on Grindr's part

Bombarded by ads
Everytime I exit out of sending/receiving a message I am getting constantly bombarded with ads. And it's never just the one either. It's atleast 2 ads, one right after the other, every single time. I know that ads are to be expected in the free version of this app, but surely they don't need to be as frequent as they currently are?!
