Being part of the LGBT community doesn't imply being turned on by every side of this community.
This is the same bullshit as removing the origins specification as before...a black dude, will still be a black dude. People will still have racial fetishism. You can't do anything against.
If we go this way...age filter...Weight filter are as much discriminating...
Come on...we are still free to choose with who we want to be and fuck with.
Thinking that leaving the situation as it is, is ridiculous.
A dude not willing a trans won't talk to the said trans. And will cockblock them anyway.
If I don't want effeminate, trans, chubs, non binary, and prefer this or that...it s my business.
No one can make me change my point of view, and all the woke propaganda is just lame as fuck. That s the cancer dividing us instead of cohabiting peacefully.
If you are shocked about this proposal. You are the problem. Not us.
Grindr has always been a men dating app.

When you go to a foreign country, you are expecting to respect the usages and rules of the population you are visiting.
If you don't like it, you have either the choice of dealing with it and accept it even if you think otherwise, or just don't go at all if you don't agree with the rules there.
What you are trying to do is imposing your own vision to the said country but you are just a visitor.
Grindr is a men dating app.
You are welcome because you are part of the LGBT community, but you are also expected to follow and RESPECT the usage of this app and his history.
Calling this point of view racist/segregationist/transphobic is just stupid and self centered.
There is a problem, and all those post about it are not here just to do some trans bashing.
We want to make things better for everyone.
You are literally shitting (in every post you are making) on people who are trying to make this work and evolve TOGETHER.
You are always calling people racist, transphobic or whatever, and never ever make a proposal to resolve this situation.
If you are not happy with trans app you should use your energy to make them get better. Not try to change what this app was made for. MEN DATING. not lesbian. Not non binary or trans.
If this app was made from scratch for trans and gay men, that would make sense, and tbh we would already have solutions to separate/choose the content and users we would like to see.
Anyway. There is a simple solution to this. Hard filters and an option for the user to block who you don't want to share your content with.
Let s say I don't want trans to see my profile, there should be a way to block this group of user. Kinda like other dating services with straight/gay public where you can choose to be viewed or not by both of the groups.
This is that simple, and should satisfy every groups of users.
I've never seen people calling some app with Gay/Straight population cohabiting separately called homophobic...and that s exactly what you are doing here.
So please, do us a favour. Stop acting like what you seems to be hating...a god damn 1960 fucktard reactionist.

An error occurred while saving the comment Nick commentedYou can say whatever you want...people will be upset.
You don't answer. You r a bitch.
You answer and say no gently. You r a bitch and get insulted.
This would be a simple and neutral way to say no and mostly remind the user trying to contact you that s you are not much more interested today than Yesterday the week before or the year before!Nick supported this idea · -

Mock location = fake profile.
I live in a rural and touristic area.
I m so pissed of receiving tons of random messages from dudes all across the globe pretending they are there to explore before coming.
That s what the exploring filter is for. -

Erin,
the odds you were banned from Grindr for being trans are no-existant.
It has to be something else like... your behaviour on it... or third party tools that can alter security etc (ie. Vpns mock locations etc )
Anyway when you are banned, there must be the reason of your ban in the email.
If you feel like it s a mistake from Grindr, you can also submit to ticket to make appeal for the ban.
You might have to ask yourself what you did wrong instead of calling everyone/everything transphobic.
