An error occurred while saving the comment Mike commentedGood idea, with the explore feature and enough time/motivation you can narrow down pretty closely where people are at/live... even if they have the distance turned off. It is especially bad if you live in an area with a lot of users as you can keep exporing until you know exactly where the target user is. I think a privacy bubble is a great solution, set a custom radius where your location is randomized in that bubble. In this way if someone tries to infer your location Grinder randomly by tweaking your GPS +/- a few digits.

An error occurred while saving the comment Mike commentedRemove double Ads, two in a row. I understand an ad supported, free model; however two ads in a row are annoying and does anyone pay any attention to the second one that you can skip in one second. Probaly a different price for advertisers, but I would rather see more single adds than two in a row.

A fun gift for someone, token of appreciation, or maybe I just want someone to send me more pics who would be more comfortable with expiring photos! I see you already have a manual process outside the app store to make a purchase. Id like to be able to gift it right through the app so I don't need to know their personal email address, get my app store/email involved, etc.
Let me pick month, 3/6/12, etc. Then with it expires it is on them to renew, or ask me for another. Seems like a way for Grindr to sell more upfront and the potentially have users who appreciate those features to renew for continued sales. Win-Win.

A lot of (smart) people pretty quickly ask for your Snapchat username to verify your identity. I don't want to share my social media on Grindr, but still want to know who I am talking to and they want to know the same.
I understand some video features have been added, but I would like to see a video verification feature where people don't need to share their snap or download/signup for snapchat just to verify their ID with someone on Grindr. Obviously, verification by Grinder itself is a massive task so keep it on the user.
Let us send a 3-5 second video just to say, "Hey Andy, it's Mike here." You can hold up your agreed upon fingers, show your face, today's newspaper or whatever you agreed on and then that's it. People are still going to abuse this feature to flash something, but with just a few seconds it's pretty limited, they can pay if they want to send longer videos. Put a watermark on it for VERIFICATION, reduce the size/quality, whatever, but would be a great add to the app.
