An error occurred while saving the comment Anonymous commentedYes! Got up here to request a similar feature. So glad that I’m not the only that wants this. It’s tiresome to always check the profile and see the age and have to polity reject that person.
Most users don’t even display or “forgot to update” it, that’s how you end up with a 25 something guy only for him to be 35 irl. 🤦🏻♂️
Combine that with profiles that are blank and unverified, you get a fuck fest of shady people with other interests than actually meeting and knowing a person.Anonymous supported this idea · -

An error occurred while saving the comment Anonymous commentedI understand that the block feature is unlimited now, but it is very tiring to always receive a double ad after each usage it.
At times there is even that type of ad that won’t go away after 5-10 sec if you don’t interact with it.
And I understand the need to get revenue in order to support the platform and keep it free for all, but it’s becoming tiresome.
If other features would be in place to help prevent stalkers or problematic users that create fake accounts and spam you 24/7, then I wouldn’t have an issue with 1 block = 1 ad, because I won’t use it at all.
Instead why not make the first 10-15 blocks per day (or whatever number is more optimal, based on statistics and country relevance) ads free, after which you get the ads per each block you do.
At this point, grindr is more of a promotional platform for ads than an app. for socializing and meeting people. Thanks

YES! Thank you. So tired of “discretion” or catfishing blank profiles.
This app needs to grow and mature.
