1. Add view count to taps

   The Tap page includes distance but should also include view counts just like the views grid. It makes it easier to see what taps may have more interest in you than others. It also makes it easier to filter out bots since most bots don’t view your profile before messaging or tapping.

2. Would you want your child around unverified accounts?

   Grindr, why are so many fake profiles allowed on here? So many profiles without even a picture? Who are you letting create profiles? I don't think you understand but there are so many sickos, creeps, or overall ill intended users on here who aren't here for a "hookup". The app needs to have some form of verification. Make sure these users are using the correct location where they are, and verify the user with a picture matching their profile picture. This is not difficult too do, your users will feel safer, more people visit the site with so many of the "fake" profiles dismissed. I constantly flag the profiles that I find to be fraudulent; but when I do are you doing your part to remove the account?? Grindr, you have an excellent terms & condition but there is always a loophole around everything. The lgbtq community already has a not so grand image. And allowing users on here who aren't even a part of the community to tarnish the name even more? Community is about pride! Not hiding behind a fake account, where is the pride in that? How about you have some pride in your users and keep them safe by checking accounts. I will gladly send you locations and profiles of the fraudulent accounts. Call me any name you'd like but safety is a priority, and you better follow suit. Thank you so much for your cooperation Grindr! And I hope to meet some of the developers etc to discuss some of my revolutionary ideas, I just need an excellent coding team and a willing group to think outside of the norm, brilliance doesn't come by often and here's your shot.

6. *For You and Explore features

   Having the *For You and Explore features right in the feed of profiles in my area is a real pain and I wish you would remove them, or give users the choice to opt out of having these features in the feed. Grindr works best when you let users do their own searching. If I want to use the Explore feature, I know how to do it. I go up to the search bar that says Explore. I don’t need distant profiles from cities around the world in the feed where I’m scrolling through guys in my area. 🤷🏽‍♂️ And, I don’t need the *For You feature in my feed. I know how to find what I want.

   Having the *For You and Explore features right in the feed of profiles in my area is a real pain and I wish you would remove them, or give users the choice to opt out of having these features in the feed.    Too many fake accounts are allowed to send messages from hundreds of miles away.

   Allow a setting for no messages from X number of miles, or automatically flag accounts that send out 30 messages in 30 minutes, or flag accounts that get three blocks on the day they are created.

    WHO IN THE RIGHT MIND WOULD REMOVE THAT FEATURE??! Grindr is based on Chatting. How do you expect us to find our old/important messages.

    I use the search bar to look for keywords like 'Whatsapp' so I could find the guys who gave me their Whatsapp numbers lol. Ugh. I AM SO PISSED.

    After you limited the profiles to only about 40km away, I can barely see any with a free account, especially if I live in the countryside where the first gay person might be 30km away. I only see 30 profiles and how can I not match any of them? You're only greedy for money

    We should have a feature that allows all users to have a “request for chat” button. That way we are not bombarded with messages and pictures we didn’t consent to. It would promote a more organized inbox and enable people to sort through who they want to talk to and who they don’t. We would get a notification where we can press accept or decline and when decline that person won’t show up on our feed and vice versa. The taps button would be converted to the request button and we won’t have an open way of messaging whoever we want anymore. Our messaging and choices with people will be selective and intentional. Too much is being allowed in this app. It’s not longer a proper safe for engagement.

20. Stop ads for paying subscribers

    Ads should be limited to non-paying subscribers. As a paying subscriber, I expect zero ads and find it terribly frustrating that not only am I fed ads in my inbox, but they cannot be deleted because every time I delete one it reappears instantly over and over and over and over again. ADS ARE FOR NON PAYING SUBSCRIBERS
