Swipe to go back
Version 8.14.0 somehow added a new button “X” to close a profile and go back to the grid, but it’s a huge usability issue for me because I lost usage of two of my fingers making it hard to go back with a simple action and now have to hold my phone with two hands to enable my thumb to get to the top of the screen. Swiping from the edge of the screen is much more accessible and accessibility friendly (and the close / arrow-back button can also co-exist).

Have an alert that informs you when your device location is not correct or can’t be determined

Quick screening and blocking
If you’re going to include different genders including trans, non-binary, etc. you have to give us the option to screen those genders out. Why give us the option to screen age and sex position but not gender? Or if people are looking for trans, they should be able to screen for trans. Think it through people - you know what we’re all here for.

Have set dates for travel
If you are traveling to a new city, there should be a tab where you can set up a traveling profile. On the profile you can name the town or city you are traveling to, and the dates that you are visiting that location. It eliminates the need for you to message multiple profiles with the explore feature before you travel, and allows the possibility of people at the destination to message you before you leave. Homepage
Grindr only gives you limited amount of characters on description and it won't let you have nudes as a profile picture. (Google an Apple rules) adding a homepage option would allow users to post a link to a location where such content is allowed. It would also allow us to have description as long as it is needed. This would open in browser - same as twitter, etc.

Boosts
Ever since you introduced Boost my views have plummeted, from an average of 60 - 100 to single digits. AND I'M PAYING FOR UNLIMITED. Also it's fucked up that I'm not necessarily seeing people near me, THIS WAS THE WHOLE IDEA BEHIND GRINDR IN THE FIRST PLACE. Get rid of this, or at least give Unlimited users the option NOT to see Boosted users.

Promote awareness of monkeypox
Urgently post information to users helping people spot the early symptoms and rash characteristic monkeypox. This recent outbreak is in the early phases, appears to be heavily focussed on the MSM community, has potential to spread and harm, and may already involve people unaware of symptoms (Gay cis-man, Pandemic Scientist and Doctor). Even I know ideas too how to do it,
1) Use another phone to click the phone
2) Install Android emulator in your pc (example: blue stack) now you can use grinder in it and can take screenshots using windows features.And the people doing such stuff not only take the ss and they use them in their album, it may lead to a cloested guy getting exposed and doing suicide, or using someone's identity and God knows the crimes someone can do,
I got the problem, I got solutions too.

The one time view pics and the album cannot be screen recorded but when we are in the video call with some one then the app is allows to record the call. This should be restricted.

Gear needs to be taken off as a tag
I honestly think the gear tag needs to be taken off. It’s really horrible to see it’s being promoted, in so many aspects. I hope Grindr can see how degrading it is to promote drugs in general. Never should have been allowed.
