6. Chat queue. You are 5th in the queue to this guy.

   So this is idea that should help to feel less painful while being ghosted. Remember when you found a nice guy and conversation was great, but suddenly he stops answering? I guess yes. So the idea is to show me where am I in line of other guys to this person. If I am already 5th or 7th in line to this guy, I might stop counting on him. So whenever the person answers not to me I go +1 in the queue. I don't know with whom or what, I just know that there is another amount of people, therefore the stealth mode of this guy gets more predictable to be turned on soon. I guess we could flush the count in the end of the day (when this guy was offline for 6 hours - took some sleep).

   Anyway I thing the idea is great =)

    Much like the option already given to users for HIV status declarations the feature proposed would be a close to being mirrored and easy code for web engineering and design team to reproduce exactly as you have already done for covid-19 descriptors recently given to users as an additional description feature.

    NEW DESCRIPTION FEATURE that would greatly benefit user profiles would be for Genital/sacral/oral herpes simplex viral infections these conditions are also known as a persons HSV-1 and HSV-2 status.

    The CDC statistics provided in 2022 reports that “roughly 18.6 million people living with HSV-2 reside in the United States.”

    With an additional reporting that
    “Around 1 of every 9 people in the United States between the ages of 14 and 49 has HSV-2”

    Having the opportunity for users to declare their status would help to destigmatize embarrassment around communication with partners and benefit the community health as a whole to start the national conversation and encouragement of frequent testing preventative measures for discordant partners to take to greatly mitigate transmission risk. Suppression antivirals and prophylactic medication and cleanliness habits to shower immediately before planned close sexual contact and another shower as soon as possible after close sexual contact. 17. Pestering - show activity as offline

    I have a guy who is quite pestering and messages every single time I’m online, the ability to “mute” my online activity indications to an individual would be useful. I live in a small part of town with lots connected work and social relations and blocking is likely to cause more issues than it’s worth. This feature would be really useful if someone is concerned about safety, stalking or violence.

19. Issues from people who are not actual gay or bi on grindr

    There are number of people who are not actual gay or bisexual
    They just use this app to use gays to get sucked or finding the wives of bi or gays
    Which makes uncomfort to homosexual community to be open on this app as well
    Make some options to report those accounts or prohibit some words such as girl,lady, wife, straight

    It's request i hope your team will do something to combat this issue to bring independent for us

20. Please can you get rid of the "gear" tag on Grindr. This tag is endagaring and putting at risk anyone who uses the app

    If you have a tag specifically for drug use and Chemsex, surely that violates Grindrs safety guidlens. By having this tag you are not only making it not a safe space you are actually encouraging drug use yes you Grindr! Targeting an already vulnerable community. I'm beyond fucked off at this major slip up.
