Profile should be visible to filtered guys only.
i have a type, when i use a filter to get only my type of profiles, i should be visible to those filtered users only. I dont want other users to text me, since theybdont conform to my type.

Sync between iOS apps
I have Grindr on my iPhone, but prefer using it on my iPad. Unfortunately, the messages don’t sync - it would be easier and much more intuitive if everything was stored in the cloud and automatically synced between devices.

We need to cap the distance. The update 2 updates ago has ruined this App. All day long people Ill never meet.?? How long before u fix this.
A standard 20 mile radius. And a max radius that we can choose.50- 100 your choice. Now I see next to nobody local. The avg TO START is 35 miles. And drops off in a hurry. Thanks Grindr for the never ending sea of people that I'll never get to see. If you can't fix this it's worthless to me

dial back ads and promos
I am so over being inundated with ads promos and upgrades on my app I have the plan that I’m comfortable with, grindr extra ..I don’t need you to bombard me with boosters upgrades or anything else that I don’t want. if I feel I want to add to my plan, I’ll reach out and find it.

Upgrade to view albums? SERIOUSLY?
My unlimited subscription just expired. I was absolutely shocked to discover that you need to have an Xtra or Unlimited membership to view all the albums that have been sent to you. WTF? I wanted to browse the albums that were unlocked and sent to me by people I've already chatted with and apparently I can't open them without upgrading? Are you fucking serious???? How recent does an album have to be sent to me for me to view it (without paying)???? May as well start charging people to receive photos as well while you're at it. WHAT A FUCKING…

Stop trying to force us into becoming subscribers by reducing features, it’s sneaky and disingenuous just be up front about it
Just be honest about the fact you want everyone to pay from now on, make an announcement and change over to a pay only app and be done with it. Slowly reducing features without warning us is insulting

Draw a radius
Allow users to draw a radius of where they want to look around and not just a distance. Like if you were searching for a house on Zillow and you draw around where you want to look so that you don’t get people across a river and can’t travel to them.

Stop redirect to browser ads
Whatever ad set up grindr has right now where the app will redirect to some website should stop. Adsin app blocking the whole screen were preferable to being redirected.

Speak Up rooms
Please make such safe spaces in the app where individuals experiencing bullying at school, college or other educational or workplace can share being anonymous. Every individual needs someone to vent out their concerns. I live in india where LGBTQ isn't much appreciated, i have seen news of young students committing suicide for getting bullied on basis of their sexual orientation. If such spaces exist then people getting bullied can share their concerns and people like me who are willing to help and can help such people. Make it so ppl can screenshot conversations and pictures, make it so ppl can turn on an option that no one can take their conversation any where but the app. And/or have disappearing messages. Because ppl like to out others to be petty and it's not cool.
