Ability to un-read read messages
You can "unsend" messages as well as "delete", "reply to (specific message)", and "search" for messages but what if you read a message that either you don't want the person knowing or it's quite simply just not convenient to reply as that time? You should be able to mark read messages as unread.

Present a stern warning to underage users for profiles claiming age 18 (or < 21)
If there’s not going to be any real verification, Underage users need to be informed of the serious risks to their own safety, and the potential to destroy lives of the adults they contact. Advise them that their parent/guardian will be notified and held liable for their behavior. AND that repeat offenders can be charged as adults for endangering the lives of those they contact. sometimes minors may reach out because they have suicidal thoughts or their lives are in danger. Remind them to seek help from parents, counselors, teachers, relatives, neighbors, or call 911.

Move my location when sending location.
My location is not accurate and is requiring me to enter my personal information in messages like telephone number or street address to arrange hookups. Would be better to allow me to move the location on the map to where my location really is.

User authenticity check and verification
As there are so much fake profiles, please implement a possibility for users to get identified as real user through other users (feature exist in Gay Romeo). Thank you!

Verification of any STD or HIV status mandatory
You guys should verify users' STD or HIV status by getting their report in pdf or whatever format.It will be very important for the users health as well as society.And also we can have authenticated partners who does not make random fake profiles by matching their profile data from backend (set limit to 2-3 profiles per person).

Need an option to mark profiles we are not interested in. Not block or report.
Able to mark a profile with a red X where the gold star would normally go. That way even if they change up the name and picture the red X would still be there. There are folks on here that don't neccessarily need to be blocked or reported but we just arent interested in. The block feature only makes them mad making you a target if they are not well adjusted in the head.

Ongoing chat bubble pop out for real time chat experience ... but make it optional to the chats u want to do it with

Require health records be verified in the system to be on grindr.
Of course you all have the option but anyone could choose the desired health status to get what they want.
There is still a level of privacy. User's can still be on the sight otherwise but they cannot fill out health information and it be plastered unless it's verified. This isn't just for hiv it needs to be for all stds.
As of lately, I fear community health is all we have. I haven't weighed the pros or cons of this action but it would help our men and women a lot.

The far superior functionality and much lower fees makes Grindr look like an amateur production.2 votes -
My biggest pain points are the recent further restrictions for free users and the exorbitant fees for Xtra. Waaaay too expensive
Fees should be one third of what is currently charged. You would find you get many more members and increase your income accordingly. Raising fees to cover higher costs results in squeezing more people out of membership thus reducing your income. You need a new EFO.

Auto log out
Once a user has been inactive for 1 hour then gets auto logged out, so often just left on and ots a ghost profile with no one logged on or watching.
Would work much better for those who pay and select the toolbar for "online"

Wish Kink Tags had Definitions
I was trying to find a tag about being intimate or "softcore" sex but it's defined as Vanilla. I'm scared to use this rag since it, to me, connotates with being "Basic" but I don't see softcore/intimate sex as basic, so I wish there was more education for myself and others available around what the different labels means

Put my profile back on the main grid when I open app
Put my profile back on main grid, not in top left hand cnr. If I change my status (eg. Not looking) and open app next day I’m wondering why no-one checked me out or msged. Then I click on my profile to see my status. If in top lh cnr I can’t see my status

Face photographs should be mandatory to join Grindr
I believe Grindr should make it mandatory for any user to upload their face photographs before they can join and create a profile. It is very annoying how profile users with blank profiles trick other users by viewing their face images and then blocking them. Grindr is an App used by gay & bisexual men, we all are in the same category, so why hide your face. Restrictions from screen shooting should apply so that images aren't captured, but I very strongly believe that face images in order to create a profile on Grindr should be mandatory, yet I myself…

Have explore actually show the same people that are too far away in the main tab
When I go to the explore tab and pick my current location, I should see the SAME EXACT guys from my nearby tab, ESPECIALLY the ones that are too far away. THIS IS THE WHOLE REASON I USE THE EXPLORE FEATURE. So I set it to my location, and the one guy I wanted to message wont be listed. What a sorry excuse for an app. You take away free features every week and expect me to pay for them, but you are SHIT app designers and that will never happen. Just fix the app already.
