Control Ads in a reasonable way
I am getting a fucking ad for the same fucking games after every chat or profile view.
This would be like an ad after every scene in a tv show.We get it, ads are a necessary evil but be somewhat responsible with the ad saturation.
If it wasn’t for needs, I would get rid of the app to be honest.

Grindr Requests
Can someone please make incognito mode unsend messages chat translate typing status saved phrases unlimited profiles etc. free even if there's a bunch of ads because some of those are really important but they can't afford to pay.

salve dovete fare in modo tale che le foto caricate dagli utenti devono essere comprovate da un documento di riconoscimento,girano troppi fake e per lo più gente che fa mille profili senza aver uno scopo di community, ma ben si per infamare gli altri utenti come ad esempio fare screenshot di foto di altri sia nudo che viso e usarle impropriamente,in più autentificare con un documento varrebbe addire che quall ora qualcuno o qualcosa succedesse voi in automatico chiedete al utente se vuoi quelerare il suo aggressore e passare tutto alla polizia postale che si interesseranno immediatamente della gravità dell'…

Cheaper Recurring Membership tier when accessing Grindr Web (avoid app store comission)
Since apple takes a big cut of purchases made through the app store subscription model, why not pass on the savings by having subscription as an option for grindr web? Free users will who log in on webview will get a splash page that its for xtra and unli users only with a subscribe now button while xtra and unli users can manage their subscription preferences on the settings tab of the webapp.

Entré un día a mi cuenta y estaba bloqueada ( literalmente no he hecho nada malo ), tengo 19 años y no he insultado a nadie por esta aplicación.
Estoy intentando conseguir que me quiten el ban y me piden que diga el mes y el año en el que he creado mi cuenta, lo cual es imposible porque nadie se acuerda de eso.

Make translation a standard feature!
When I chat with someone who speaks only Spanish it’s great that I can translate what they are saying but unless they’re an Unlimited customer they can’t translate my texts. This makes the conversation very cumbersome because I have to toggle between my Translate app on my iPhone back to Grindr.

When the app is closed and click on a new message, it goes to the chat but content not shown
Once I close the app, if there is new message, then it shows a notification as expected. But when I click on that notification, I go to the related chat but the chat history is not visible. I have to go back to the messages and open that chat again. I tried restoring the app but still the same

Profiles, ads, and pricing..
So this is a multilayered list of things that really grind my gears, no pun intended. The amount of ads after viewing one of the 25 profiles available to the non-paying folk is outrageous. Really? Because we are not subscribing to your overpriced plans we get to only freely message around 25-30 guys in our immediate area? And then, when we do click on one of those profiles, we are immediately directed to a candy crush ad or ad for prep that lasts for 3 minutes if we don’t close the app and reopen it. I understand how ads work,…

Make an option for out status.
Add a general information tab for how out you are completely out out to some in the closet to family can’t even be seen on public lol.

Actually backup all important data chats pics and favorite
Make backups that actually back something up so if something happens when on the way to see someone you don't loose contact well traveling.

Promote local places in the area, bars, saunas, theater ect.
I work at an adult shop/arcade/theater, I think my boss would definitely pay for advertisement here and I would love to ads for local places when I travel

Translate Profile Descriptions
Profiles of people travelling have to be duplicated in different languages - it would be better to have a translate feature for people to translate profiles into their native language.
This is especially useful in countries where screenshots cannot be taken for use in translation apps.

Bisexual should be a tribe and not a tag. Or there should be more profiles visible with the bi tag. For transwomen who don’t want chasers.
As transwoman who don’t like dating chasers but are open to dating men it would be fair to have more access to profiles of bisexual men. Because it’s not a tribe but a tag only three profiles are being shown to me. This is very limiting to trans women trying to have real dates in the app.

Let us unsend pictures for free
Unsend pic is a must have for free for a lot reasons, some of those being protections against blackmail, our own protection and simply just changing our mind.
Or at least let us send unlimited expiring photos

Fix ban appeals
Stop lying to your users about using bans as a last resort and having human evaluations for appeals. Both of these claims that you’ve made are demonstrably false. Stop banning people who don’t violate the guidelines and crack down on the cesspools of fraud and abusive behavior that take place on your app constantly.
