2. Option to opt out of AI Profile Insights

   I feel incredibly uneasy about the new AI profile insights feature and the Edge offering in general. I understand a desire to jump on the AI train, but this feature feels too intrusive. I’m not comfortable knowing a stranger could pay to find out information about my preferences that should only be revealed through private messages. I am selective with who I talk to, and what I state on my profile is as much as I want a stranger to know about me.

   At worst, I can see this feature misused by bad actors to gain information on the local LGBT population beyond our public profiles. $349 is steep for the average person, but may be justifiable to bot programmers, advertisers, or law enforcement.

   I personally do not consent to have my data used in this way, and may reconsider how often I use Grindr in the future depending on how the Edge features are handled. Mixing AI with sexual apps is a very risky game to play.

4. Give Paying Subscribers Tiered discounts on features!

   I’m an Unlimited Member (which is not cheap I might add) and having to pay (at all) or full price to use the Boost, Right Now and Roam features is unjustified. Offering these features as a complimentary or discounted add-on to the subscriber tiers would significantly increase the value of subscribing to Grindr.

5. Accessing someone's profile from the Albums tab

   When scrolling through the albums that have been shared with you, its impossible to go directly to a person's profile when looking through their pics. You have to interact with the picture somehow, by pressing a icon such as "thumbs up, or HOT" and then going into your chats, opening the chat with the interaction, and then finally go to their profile.

   I want to be honest about why this matters so much to me. I have spent most of my life carrying a lot of pain from childhood, and for a long time I did not feel safe enough to fully accept or express that I am gay. Growing up, I learned to hide a big part of myself just to get through the day, and that kind of fear stays with you. It affects how you see yourself, how you trust people, and how comfortable you feel even trying to connect with others.

   Recently, after a death in my family, something changed in me. It made me realize how short life is and how tired I am of living in fear and silence. For the first time, I felt a small sense of safety and permission to begin exploring who I really am. That has been emotional and overwhelming in ways I can barely put into words. I am trying to do this gently and safely, because I am still healing from a lot of old trauma and I do not want to rush into anything that could make me feel exposed or unsafe.

It would give me a chance to explore the app in a more protected and manageable way, especially in a rural area where there are so few people nearby. The extra features could help me feel less lost and less alone, and they would make it easier for me to see whether this app can actually support me as I try to build confidence and connect with others. 14. Viewed Me Feature needs unlocked on Xtra

    If i, like many other users are going to pay for an Ad-Free Xtra experience and NOT the overpriced Unlimited, we would expect to be able to see the profile of (at the very least) the last 3-5 people that viewed our profile and also be able to click through to them. Currently you have to squint very hard to make out the shape and then go hunting for them in the main feed to be able to view who it is.. if we are paying to see and meet people.. PROVIDE THIS FEATURE

    Wtf is this shit? You can literally only look at maybe 10 or so profiles in some places (rural and semi-urban areas like BFE Montana). It only shows SOME profiles in your "radius" of less than a millimeter even though there are 2 to 3 times that number and they only show if you start HIDING ALL (YES-HIDING) profiles. Then, having a tiered membership with extortionate pricing? That is criminal. It should be brought to the BBB and reported for price gouging.
