    There should be the option of turning off and on the read receipts. We should have the choice.

    I am very furiously irritated with Grindr and how the app has diminished significantly when it comes to moderation, security, and quality of management and operation.

    I live in the Pacific Northwest and it NEVER fails, when I log into the app, I am almost always contacted in my DMs from a profile that has spoofed their location as being approximately 15 to 35 miles distance away, and the profile ALWAYS shows a picture of an attractive Asian man, many times going by the name "Li", who initiates a chat in understandable but imperfect English, often introducing himself by name…

    Removing the message asking if I want notifications turned on after each sent message people have notifications off for.a reason if they wanted them on they would be please remove this. It's real spam having the app do this.

    I would like to have a keywords filter: my city is swarm
    With people who looking for drugs and unsafe sex. But they are the majority of user in Vietnam right now. The keywords they would use would be : hifun, hf, or use the hand sign to do it. I would like to reccomend to have a filter keywords so healthy user like me can also enjoy Grindr

  13. App does not orientate or not compatible with smart device landscape mode, nor re-orientates when device is upside down.

    As stated on the title, this app is 1 of very very few that I’ve come across which don’t support or are unable to auto orientate/re-orientate to landscape mode (@ least on iPhones & iPads). Also, doesn’t flip 180° when devices are held upside down. PLEASE 4 the love of god catch up w/ the 2020’s & update this!

    While I’m at it, 1 more item which is slightly bothersome, however, I’ll give credit to say it’s improving w/ time —the app seems a bit of a resource hog & loads down your device after having it open for extended…

  14. Why can’t I search in my home area without “Roam” and PAY for 1 hour? Used to search for free. I pay big $ for lousy service here.

    Put the search option back to bring a FREE helpful part of the app. I’m not paying to “Roam” in my own area for 1 HOUR ?! Very poor service. And the app has had bugs and problems all year long.

  16. Fake Accounts

    The amount of fake accounts are so bad it’s to the point that i am about to delete my account for good. It’s making the app trash and I don’t even want to have conversations with anyone for fear that they’re just trying to get my pics.. There needs to be a verification process. You can literally create a new account with a email address that isn’t even a valid email and bam 💥 just like that you have a new account within 30 seconds.

    Whatever the changes are to produce revenue by drawning the user in advertising is ridiculous. If there was a as popular platform, I would not use this one at all. Nor will I give in and p a y to use it

    Hi there. Many of us prefer to have a peek at people’s faces before hooking up with them. The experience on the app is made infinitely less pleasurable when we are harassed by people who do not respect the NPNC signs.
    Grindr already has a feature enabling users to filter out blank profiles.   20. Having Chicago people I'll never see flood my Northwest Indiana listings.

    Actually, my problem is that when I say the mileage for how far that hits Chicago but I don't want Chicago people. Even when I drag the map in Chicago is not in my map. It shows Chicago people. I'd rather see no one online than people I'm never going to meet is too frustrating. It's ridiculous.
