that my messages doesn't get sent and I dont receive messages
I have messages that doesn't get delivered or reach the other guys, and the other way around. In an app where the general communication skills are fairly scarce as it is, this is a huge problem, and often ends up in blocking, because I/they seem rude at best.
Also I experience quite often, that people I have blocked shows up in the app, less that 1 minute after I have blocked them. I understand that people sometimes delete the app, and create a new profile, but not in 30-60 seconds. Are these issues something that you can help me with?9 votes -

Ritengo quindi che venga fatto un aggiornamento che riguardi la tasta che dei preferiti.
Possibilmente rimpicciolirei le immagini profilo degli account nella lista dei preferiti per permettere di vederli nella prima schermata, senza diver scorrere in basso.2 votes -
Swipe to go back
Version 8.14.0 somehow added a new button “X” to close a profile and go back to the grid, but it’s a huge usability issue for me because I lost usage of two of my fingers making it hard to go back with a simple action and now have to hold my phone with two hands to enable my thumb to get to the top of the screen. Swiping from the edge of the screen is much more accessible and accessibility friendly (and the close / arrow-back button can also co-exist).

Since the upgrade
Since the latest upgrade two days ago I've not had a single new message, ( I've sent a message and got a reply from that person, but no new ones ) or any taps and I've only been viewed by my two people. I'm thinking you've changed something so the free version we don't get seen by as many people. If that's your plan don't think for one moment I'm going to pay for something that was working perfectly fine two days ago.

I cannot backup chats, the folder in iCloud was deleted so now Grindr complains (lies) about no room on device/iCloud which is false.
Insert above.
I managed to recreate the backup to iCloud folder by loading Grindr onto another device but the app still does not backup chats. There is plenty of room both on my device and iCloud, so stop lying to me about there being no room, what it expects to be there is not so recreate it before lying to me.

Bring back how fresh was used bc it’s annoying having to block so many people when before I just could’ve filtered them out
The new update is so bad and makes finding people interested in me 25 times harder as a transwoman on grindr

Remove Grindr Xtra and Unlimited. Remove ads. better auto Fresh. Profile verification. There a lot of fakes and spam people . 100 gay. No trans

Create a new account to combine an old Apple ID without login password issue
It’s that to create a new account is to merge and reorganize an old account with an Apple ID without a login password to solve the problem of those users who not wanting to lose long-standing chat history and accumulated various informations records for reason?!!

Fix Incorrect profile photos on Faves grid
For several weeks the Faves grid randomly shows the wrong profile photo for people on the Faves grid - especially if the person doesn't have a profile photo. Really hard to determine if a Fave is online or not, or in your area or not. Refreshing the grid can sometimes show the same incorrect photo or a different person's profile photo, but blank profiles do not show the placeholder image in the Faves grid.

Stop constant location pings
Grindr is constantly pinging your location. Leaving to a lot of “driving” profiles and the app generally being sluggish, while eating battery life which takes away from a lengthy conversation. I’m proposing that the app only ping your location when the app starts, or when the user refreshes.

Take out the heteros
This app has become a straight bar, i have a femenine type of body and the heteros are making this an issue, i'm talking about the homofobic women in here who can't take not being in the spotlight (asalways) and homophobic men who cannot accept rejection. GRINDR IS NO LONGER A SAFE PLACE FOR QUEER MEN ANYMORE, the heteros are a big issue in our spaces and they're taking one of our few places for meeting new QUEER people.
