Why make people log into a different account to submit ideas?
It is crazy, but in order to submit an idea to Grindr we have to go and use the third-party application. Even with all the up votes, it’s clear that Grindr doesn’t want to take any action to make this a more usable app.
It’s almost as if you’re saying… Screw the users… Let’s focus on over advertising

General user experience
The whole use of experience of Grindr has got worse and worse. There are too many ads. There are too many scammers. There are too many fake accounts. These are so obvious and yet Grindr chooses to do nothing about it.
With the amount of genetic AI and generative AI that’s available, you should fire your head of development and use experience and get new people in to make the app more usable.
So many other people have said it so I’ll say it again… This app is becoming a pile of garbage

I need to fix the chat bugs, please, help me!
Chats are beyond buggy, they’re non functional. Notifications don’t work, I have badges showing new incoming chats when I send them. I have chats that won’t send, I have chats that disappear and reappear, I have chats that I can’t delete. You guys are seriously messing it up.

Bring back favourites and search for text in notes of favourites
Since the favourites have been included in the general filters there is no way to search for a name or text in notes of favourites - this was an essential feature that allows you to add city or other info in notes and then find people again like that.
Ideally favourites should be groupable by distance or last chatted like in scruff.6 votes -

Please move “right now” OUT OF THE WAY
Please move “right now” out of the MIDDLE OF THE SCREEN where you swipe up from, it’s so annoying and just starts sessions constantly

We should be able to view profiles in explore without being subscribed to Xtra
I can’t even view profiles on the app, even if I have my location on and are in explore mode even with no existing chats left for me to use i should still be able to view the profile without being prompted with a pay wall.

Jesus Christ now taps are hidden behind a paywall?
Nobody is going to buy your shitty app for $30 a month. You got rid of “race”, you hide most users, you have ads every 5 seconds and now you have to pay to even see a tap?!!!
You’re killing your app. I get the point is to make the free version so shitty people will buy it but it doesn’t work that way.

I got banned for no reason I never in 10 years I had my account I broke any guidelines im so lost with out grindr can any look into this I submitted Appeal it and I know that robots are replying now this affects my metal helf and stress that grindr put me tho plz I'm begging help me, please get me back my old account.

You need to make 50 people visible in the grid again, despite filters being used.
If there are no more people on the grid, your app won't be used.

That I live in a fairly sparsely populated town and state and your system places people who live 150+ miles away from me. WTF???
Don’t show people who are non-geographically desirable. That really sucks and not in a good way. Probably time to just delete the account. Not worth it with the adds that are COMPLETELY IRRELEVANT

Roam is a scam
First of all when you buy the ability to roam for an hour and you she the Ability to not roam don't continue to let the clock run out. If we stop roam the timer should also stop you're scamming people. Secondly when we put our profile let's say in Chicago give me profiles in Chicago. Instead of taking the mileage from my location to Chicago and giving me a radius of that milage that is not what is advertised that we paid for. Plus if you have unlimited then shouldn't that be included makes no sense as to why…

Remove taps, fuck adds!
As it says, remove taps, and don't force adds on us as soon as we are texting someone! It deletes the entire text and you have to start over every fucking time!
