Require face pics & Men only
As an app originally intended and still almost exclusively used for and by men interested in other men, to now have scores of female profiles and transgender individuals who clearly don’t fit the crowd and stick out like ingrown toe nails, is both extremely obnoxious & moderately offensive, and also indicates that Grindr’s current owners aren’t taking their true base of customers seriously anymore, if they ever did. You must make the free version usable and popular again
I have used Grindr consistently for 15 years and paid for it for the past 10. In my opinion, nothing has ever compared to this app. That being said the tide is changing and I believe I understand why. I recently went back to the basic version of the app and I realize just how bad it is for these people trying to use it. Fix bugs
Highly advise yall to check you're app sotre reviews to see how crappie these up dates have been. Yall really dropped the ball and all levels of account holders from free to your most expensive plan seem to be having enormous problems with the app not functioning on all aspects. And I'm not saying all to be dramatic, I mean all, as in connecting, notifications, messages, who's online, how's saved, and others. These need to be fixed asap

Messages update delay & lagging
After updating the apps, the chat messages refresh delay to pop out a new message. Clicking into an album that shared by others are currently more difficult and stuck in the conversation page.

Glitchy and buggy
Instead of spending the millions on an admittedly good podcast series, you need to spend some of that money on actually restoring some basic functionality back into the app. The glitches get worse with every update, and it just smacks of arrogance and having a monopoly. I initially thought it was just the free versions but the paid one has even more glitches. Ads are fine but make them make sense at least - as they often are not sized correctly, take forever to get through and are really not advertising their respective brands well, and just annoy the user…

"Read Profile" Pop Up
We should have the possibility to turn on an option to make people that click to chat with us seeing a pop up remembering to Read The Profile before opening the chat. I'm TIRED of people not reading my profile before sending me the first message. The possibility of opening the chat simply with double clicking on the profile shown in the grid does not help either, because with that some people don't even open the profile before chatting me.
