Ok. Let me get real here. I have had xtra for the last several years. Yes, years. Consistently paid, rarely missed a month. And yeas I have paid the monthly versus the yearly because, frankly, my health insurance is cheaper. I pay about 20 a month for the device I use for nearly all my online access, and pay the same amount just for an app that is more useful as a money drain than what it is actually claiming to be: a dating and hook up app. I have literally spent thousands of dollars over the years, and you still want to make a scheme to make me spend more money to compete with all the scam profiles and also to remove the mysterious messaging problems for an hour? Just to drive this point home, Grindr revenue reached 225.28 million U.S. dollars in 2023 alone. That’s not including the other apps they are connected to, or the other 34 mil they got from selling user data that year. That is for one year! I don’t know about anyone else, but that makes me want to puke. Stop the money drain, get rid of boost and simple show in the grid what your suppose to be showing in the grid: the users, free or paid, arranged by distance from me. And stop being greedy and manufacturing broken schemes to trick more money out of us. I guarantee. You will still make your money, make more so cause your users will be more willing to be paid subscribers.
