Bring back search bar in chat/inbox
Previously there was a search bar in the chat/inbox area where we could type something we mentioned in a convo and it brought up all the topics and which profiles it was discussed with. Please can we have that feature back?

Instagram verification feature gone?
The Instagram verified handles and photos that were introduced earlier in 2024 is gone, and there is no updated information regarding this? Have you pulled back the feature?
This was a much needed feature to prevent catfishing which is way too prevalent on this app.

Request access button for albums
There should be a button that allows users to request access to albums. It will eliminate the awkward back and forth that is required currently to access albums. A simple request comes in to the album owner. The album owner reviews the request, which should have the requesters profile attached. If the album owner is interested in the requester they will just have to Grant access to the requester.

Splash screen repeats every time I switch apps
Since a recent update, every time I switch away from Grindr and back (even briefly), the splash screen animation plays again. It takes a few seconds each time and really interrupts the flow of using the app. This wasn’t happening before and makes multitasking super frustrating. Would love if you could fix this so the app resumes instantly like before.

High Cost = Glitches
This app is non-stop glitches. There are so many I can’t even keep track. For the amount of money that we pay for an unlimited subscription, it would be nice to have a smooth functioning application. I think I’m not alone in saying that the only reason many of pay for this app is because of its wide-spread use. If there was an alternative, I would switch in a heart beat. We deal with it because of the amount of people who use Grindr. That is the only reason I continue to pay for it. Please get some software developers…

Spelling metre correctly in the ap
Can you please spell metre correctly if ssomeone selects it as their distance unit. Anyone selecting metre as their distance format won't be from the US, they will therefore spell metre correctly.

Return to Send text button
You just updated your chat experience with a send just icon button, this is worst for accessibility compliance and additionally is reducing the clickable space we have as users, now I have multiple miss clicks trying to hit send, cause from what I see you didn’t even have the icon a click area around it, it’s just the symbol, so it’s really hard to hit.

Profiles from faraway are showing up within the first 15 profiles on a rotation.
Just to keep these profiles 71,2 or 3 miles away, where they belong!

Grindr these days runs so slow.
Grindr these days runs very slow. Sending message & updating of convo is so slow. Even after you read a message it still appears to be unread. Its not about my network because other apps run fast though and i have a high bandwidth. Please fix this bug. Thank you.

"Tapped you just now"
On the Spain/Spanish version of the app, when you view a profile of someone you recently tapped, a banner appears which says "Tapped you just now". This is incorrect - it should say "You tapped just now" - or even better, in Spanish.

Instead of having all these people from India from your home office to sign up for a full membership why don’t you actually have people that actually wanna meet people instead of sending me all game ideas and stuff like that I’m sick and tired of people claiming to be 20 miles away and they’re just spammers from your corporation Moving out some foreign office

How to restore the removed Favorites tab in the new version of Grindr?
Previously, the "Favorites" tab allowed me to easily access and manage the users I was interested in. However, with the switch to a filter system, I had difficulty finding these users again without having to reset all the filters each time X Trench Run . This degraded the user experience and caused inconvenience. Is there any way to restore this feature or is there any workaround?
