3. Profile Image Quality and Composition

   Profile images viewed in the grid view sometimes show more of the image composition compared to when viewed larger. The grid view is representing images in a square one-to-one ratio thumbnail appearance. But, when viewing the image larger, most smartphone screens are taller than wide, and therefore images submitted as 1028p x 1028p end up getting cropped. As far as I know, you are not able to drag to reposition, change the scale/zoom, or use multi-touch gestures like pinch to zoom, etc.

   It seems an app that almost relies on images; the overall implementation could be more elegant. Allow higher resolution images, use of multi-touch gestures, figure out the aspect ratio issue mentioned earlier, and maybe use artificial intelligence to evaluate images for quality, or even composition.

5. Add swipe between photos to Albums

   On all profile pages you can swipe between the main photos left to right and you only use the left and right sides of the screen to scroll if you’ve clicked on a photo to “zoom” in. Sadly the same logic hasn’t been copied to the Albums and I’m forever trying to scroll through them with a swipe when inexplicably you can only get to the next photo if you click on the left or right side of each photo! Please make the album photos so that they swipe exactly as profile photos.

    It would be really great to be able to quickly jump to the beginning of a chat, in the same way the down arrow takes you to the end of a chat.

11. Fix glitch

    Seems to be a Glitch with Grindr at the mo you might want to look at. If a profile has just an album, and no individual profile photos, I can't scroll down their profile to see their details. Scrolling down causes me to jump to adjacent profiles. Using an Oppo A4 running Android.

12. Make it not so hard to find how to edit profile

    I spent all morning looking for a way to edit my profile. I open the app on my phone and I see everything about everyone else, I can read my messages, see my taps, see the adds, there is "Browes, Inbox, Favs Store" on top there is "albums", Taps", Messages" a little emblem of people with a "=" I tap it and it gives me "favs" says "not enough favorites to start a chat". then two lines with small circles on them, choose that and get "Message Filters". So, HTF do I edit my profile. I looked online and got no help. This seems like a basic. People may want to edit their profile from time to time and it shouldn't be a puzzle to do so. I try to contact customer service email - no such thing can be found - WTF? Are you trying to piss off your customers until they leave? I'm just about there.

13. Bug reporting

    The vote count indicator and button should NOT hide any portion of the title of the feature requests / bug reporting.

    Why do I need to go to a web page to report a bug? Why Isn’t it built into the app? Now I have to sign in again? And I can’t use my thumbprint to sign in, so I have to look up my password again? Are you making it difficult to report bugs and feature request on purpose? Why not make it easier? I added a screenshot through the drop or click upload files, and I don’t see it in my bug report I just see a bunch of wacky numbers. Does that mean that it worked? Or that it’s not working? How do I know? The user experience does not let me know that this is working correctly. Show the screenshot so I could see that it’s working correctly instead of some abstract hash number that makes me wonder did this worker didn’t it?

    Again in order to post, I have to sign in, but then if I put in my email address, the next field, my password, makes it look like a change pw a new user login asking for new password —not entering my existing password. Very bad UI experience.

    I uploaded one picture incorrectly twice? How do I not upload that picture/remove it before I click submit

    If I use my existing Grindr password and user email, I get an error that says invalid email or password.

17. Saving our own photos

    You should be able to save your photos. First of all, you lose them when you delete the app which sucks, but a significant amount of my photos I took in the moment on the Grindr camera and they turned out really fucking good. I want to be able to use them elsewhere. Plus the fact that they basically are gone forever since they’re only on Grindr if I delete the app also makes it worse. Screenshoting them all individually sûcks and it’s not as good when you crop out the boarders and stuff.

19. When you log out.. you don’t “really” log out

    When I log out, I should truly be logged out. But Grindr keeps my profile searchable. I’m an app developer with swift and Java (iOS and android) so I understand ad revenue. But it’s dangerous to show our profile when we “log out”…. Let’s say I log out because I have to work at 9 when I log back in at 8pm, I have hateful messages accusing me of ignoring them. Those messages are from AFTER I “logged out”…. I know I can report those messages, but I can report those after I’ve been shot just for you $0.23 you made off my ad revenue

20. Error in Vivo x70 pro and vivo x80 New Android phone

    Vivo x70 pro and pro plus has issues with loading Grindr app. Every time it shows unable to load. Basically relogin everytime this happen.
