Una sugerencia para mayor seguridad es que la aplicación no permita hacer screenshots en chats ni en imágenes enviadas, de esta manera se evitaría que otros extorsionen con fotos de las conversaciones y pidan algo a cambio en el caso de los gays que aún somos de clóset.

Scammers or abusers who block you, and how extremely difficult it is to report them or hold them accountable, promoting bad behavior
Have a mechanism where people request a block, and must give a reason for that can be reviewed. It is far too easy for people to have bad behavior and provide scams. Looking for personal information with no accountability. At the least pushback to the requests, they just block you and carry on with your bad behavior. similarly to people who give an address and then block you when you arrive and such things. The worst thing about these apps is how poorly some people behave and there’s no way to keep them accountable. It runs everyone’s experience on here…

Be able to flag profiles of guys who are unsafe
Had someone over the other night who was literally unstable. After a little while of casual hanging out, he started to have a nervous breakdown. He started arguing that my apartment wasn't mine (i even showed him my ID to try to get him to relax). Verified accounts prevent scams and deaths, in Brazil many gays are being victims of robbery and death because apps don't require much in creating a profile.

Verification check
Grindr is long overdue to implement verification to make this app more secure. I don't understand why it is not implemented, in fact, most apps of this type have facial recognition. This way, we will always know that we are talking to a real person and that we are not putting our life, our photos or our conversations at risk. it is very necessary and urgent!!!!!

Make Grindr only accessible to those who have face photos and can verify their identification via drivers license or passport this will stop abuse of the app and deter bots and underage users which are prolific on this app

Bad for the users
This app poses a significant threat to the mental health to its users. The impulsive risky actions that the app encourages is not good for the users. If Grindr wanted to make a difference in the LGBTQ+ community it should change how the app functions. The app should function similar to serious dating apps. This would improve the mental health of the community. The app is connects the users to the good feeling of sex, which causes them to continually use the app when it is not in their best interest.

Fake profiles, escorts, etc.
Fake profiles are not being handled by Grindr. I get guys who I've reported creating new profiles EVERY DAY and contacting me again -- there needs to be verification like a government-issued ID. If a profile with that ID has been reported/blocked/banned, they obviously should NOT be able to just create a new profile with the same ID. Also all the escorts need a separate category - any "regular" guy who asks if we're "generous" is an escort. The word "generous" if used should generate a pop-up warning.
