There are a number that probably should be added:
Uncut, pierced genitals, tattooed genitals, AMAB, AFAB, pube colour,

Wasn't Grindr originally designed for gay men looking for men, period?

It Needs A.I. Badly….
Hello Grindr and Grindr community,
I both hope and trust that this day finds you all quite well. I am curious to know if you have explored the idea of using A.I., to make the hunt for sex much, much easier and less time consuming?
I spend hours looking for guys, and sometimes only get
a few loads (as an example).The conversions take forever. You can go 20 minutes on a conversation, only for it to just go nowhere.
Surely, Open A.I, Google, Microsoft, etc… can help with this?
Please advise. If you charged more for it, I would…

Dear Grindr, we know you have a lot to offer us, but I ask for one thing that will help many! I really like people, but I have an ethnic preference, I like black guys and that makes me feel passionate; Could you add ethnicity to the filters? If the person is white, Asian, black, etc.
Please, I need black friends or a boyfriend, but all I see are white people! :(

Struggling to find gay men with all the straight men and cisgender women
The user base is primarily fake/scam accounts and cisgender women / straight men seeking women only. This app barely caters to gay men anymore. I get like 10 or 15 taps a day and not one of those tabs comes from an actual person. They’re all scam and mostly women. What the fuck is this app anymore? I know Grindr is never going to address this because they can’t even respond to basic customer support inquiries for six months but I wanted to document this so y’all don’t act like you didn’t know this is a problem

Why would you change the favorites again?!? I hate the way it is. It’s practically useless. I can’t see if they have been on recently or nearby without having to go to their profile and looking like a creeper when I show up in their veiwed me.

Tgirls and their chasers need their own filter. It would be a better experience for everyone if ~30% of my grid was not Tgirls and their chasers. I'm gay and I use this gay hookup app to find men, not women or "straight" men who are only interested in those women.

Add view count to taps
The Tap page includes distance but should also include view counts just like the views grid. It makes it easier to see what taps may have more interest in you than others. It also makes it easier to filter out bots since most bots don’t view your profile before messaging or tapping.

Taps and favourites
If you don’t like taps they’re the most annoying thing in the world, and yet you’ve made them central to the UI and made favourites (by definition already an area of prime interest) harder to use by applying residual filters to it; we’ve already done the hard work on selecting our favourites, we don’t need active filters applied.
Instead of all this dust rearrangement, how about your Product team spends more time detecting and blocking fake accounts? Actually add value for the customer rather than finding ways to fill a two week Sprint with nonsense.7 votes -
