Option to let people know conversation preference when not interested/matched
Dear Team,
It's been an ongoing chat amongst LGBT+ group that when chatting on dating app, do people prefer to be blocked right away if someone is not interested in them or do they prefer to be ignored when someone initiated a chat.
Wouldn't that be nice if there could be a tag or something that display user's preference for that? Option 1 is prefer block right away, (just a conversation preference), Options 2 is prefer to be quietly ignored/fades out, and Option 3 is if user didn’t choose any of those 2 options, then this means they prefer play…

La aplicación es una app gay, por lo tanto debiese seguir siendo solo para la comunidad, ahora esta invadido por gente que vende droga, hombres hetero buscando mujeres y mujeres ofreciendo servicios sexuales, donde quedo lo que era antes grindr? Ya no hay casi gente gay, por que la app ya se tornó para todo, y realmente TODO (drogas, prostitución, heteros, etc)

Make an option to implement security for the profile photos don't take a screen shot
Make an option to implement security for the profile photos uploaded in the grindr account, because some of the viewers of the grindr account take screenshots of the photos posted by some users and pretend that someone else's photo is their own and put it in their profile picture and misuse it, then put an option so that the photos uploaded to the account cannot be taken screenshot. . This avoids cheating by taking screenshots of one's portraits.

Fix ban appeals
Stop lying to your users about using bans as a last resort and having human evaluations for appeals. Both of these claims that you’ve made are demonstrably false. Stop banning people who don’t violate the guidelines and crack down on the cesspools of fraud and abusive behavior that take place on your app constantly.

Popup check most toggled options are correct, e.g. hosting or not
As a traveler I'm not always at home or I am in a hurry to get somewhere and settle in, I don't got time to think about an app setting.
So I login, and often miscommunication
Due to me forgetting to change all my show and do not show toggle options
Or change if I can Host or not Host. So like a travel reminder.
Say 100 mi outside usual radius. Ya get a pop up reminder asking to review toggle options.As nice as that is I think it would be even faster if we could set a set…

Bad guys
Hello guys and girls in Cypress. Please get your site under control. The bad guys hit you up and try to get info then disappear. It's getting ugly. Is it better to to contact FCC or FBI for this kind of crime?. Also your add at the beginning of the search, uses 7 or 8 attempt before it clears should I copy them on that too. Seems excessive and fake advertising. Idk? Hope to hear from you before I send tomorrow afternoon. Happy New Year!

Blank profiles by gps
GPS location sets which profiles I see. 50% of those profiles are Blank. Thus I block them so I can only view those which have a profile picture.
I dont wish to permanently block these people. They could be great, but shy, individuals. Yet without a paying membership I do not wish to take up my contactable peeps with those blanks....
See what im saying? I'm blocking 10-20 people per day..permanently blocking... thats not right.
There should be a feature to remove blank profiles from the list of those in your area.. and to disable blank profiles from contacting you…26 votes -

Remove from grid without blocking the profile
Remove from the grid without blocking the person.

Report and remove ignorance
Make it so we can report ignorance if people dont respond we should be able to report them for being ignorant its infuriating that they dont even have the common decency to say they are not interested and just ignore you. Maybe add a button that sends an automated message that says sorry but not my type and have a soft block so you get the message and they nolonger appear on the grid

Moderador de ilegalidades
es necesario que ya se le ponga limites a la gente pues debiera tener un moderador que este en la zona y de rebaja a todo lo prohibido por la misma app. bloquear aquellos perfiles que hacen venta de droga, prostitución y bloqueo de cuentas de pedofilos.
es necesario que se cree un cargo para que un moderador a diario baje las cuentas sin necesidad de denuncia, pues algunos con la sola descripción anuncian venta de droga

Messages still readable after being blocked
Someone can send you some really hateful messages and the second you read them they block you so you can't actually report them for it. Make accounts and messages of people you've talked to still viewable so you can report them.

Everyday I see profile pics of guys literally butt naked on my main page. When I try to update my pic wearing lingerie, it says it is against guidelines. Get this shit together!!

Podría existir una herramienta que permita visualizar solo la categoría de interés seleccionada, considerando que grindr permite la venta de drogas y la inclusión de mujeres.
Hombres - mujeres y/o trans - drogas
(Aunque lo ideal sería considerar sólo las dos primeras categorías propuestas, y mejorar el filtro eliminando a quienes venden o compran drogas).
Al menos la mitad de los perfiles no es de mi interés considerando que solo busco conocer hombres y no mujeres o drogas.

More bio text, better profile pic moderation, and a profile enhancement (text bubble update)
The bios need just a little more characters, WHOEVER IS IN CHARGE OF THESE PROFILE PIC MODERATING NEEDS CHECKED, far to many have slipped through the crack while others have been BANNED for nothing, and a current event colored text bubble that can expand over the profile picture to say what you’re up to would be great for a more genuine encounter rather than using your phone like a dowsing rod 🤦♂️
