For me it's not only have the rates become more and more expensive but the app has become infested with women who I don't want to see filters have been removed and the reporting and blocks just don't work so not only has it become more expensive but less enjoyable to use as I'm constantly having to report and block the same set of people and nothing gets done

It's ridiculously overpriced which one lowers the number of guys that if the cost was realistic for everyone they would buy the subscription. Come on. You don't need to charge us that much for unlimited, or at least give us some loyalty points which can reduce our rate as unlimited users. The longer we have unlimited status the lower or discounted rate we receive. That way you'll get more people sign up at the current rate because they eventually want to have a much lower rate for the same service. How about 6 months at current rate, and then your rate goes down 50%, then a year of unlimited service at the 50% off rate gives you a 50% off the discounted rate then eventually after a couple years of paying high dollars you eventually get to say $9.99 a month for unlimited for the life of the account. Plus you get special access to new features which no one else can have access to. I guess what I'm trying to get across is that I get it you don't want to lose your revenue from high dollar paying accounts but if you could tier it down you'd get a lot more guys sign up for unlimited. We would simply just need to go through and put in our time. Or if that's not possible perhaps a point system that you can use towards your membership fee, or if that's not possible either give us special first access to newest features - I know we have that already but there's gotta be some sort of loyalty system or points system to help alleviate the heavy cost of the unlimited membership. Everyone below is absolutely right, it's absurdly expensive. Help us by reducing the cost in some way. I've been paying the $40 for years now, but I'm to the point where I'm canceling it and removing Grindr from my devices all together. I see lots of unfair treatment as well. People are posting crotch and ass pics, yet when my friends try it they aren't approved. I'm not sure what you guys are doing in that area. Sniffies is a great option and it's far less expensive. At $510.60 Canadian (including taxes) per year, Grindr Unlimited is more than six times more expensive than Scruff Pro and more than five times more expensive than Sniffies Plus. Yes Grindr has more features but I don't think those justify this high price. During an inevitable budgetary 'belt-tightening' period, my grinder subscription will be the first one on the chopping block.

Why did you scrap the yearly Unlimited package? Yes it was expensive but nothing compared with the $69 (AUD) you now ask for per month. I was going to upgrade from Extra but not now.

WOW! So others do have the same thought...imagine the if they were aware of the one-side judgement photo selection.
