  7. Allow readable and transferable backups

    I deleted and reinstalled Grindr. I had backed up my chats right before deleting. However, large part of my chats was lost when I restored my backup upon reinstallation. It would be great if readable to transferable backups are allowed to know the latest backup available before deleting the app and losing chats

  8. Restrictions on sharing someone personal/private information

    There needs to be a lot better monitoring on users sending anyone else's photos/screenshots/videos/messages or other personal information. You should not be allowed to screenshot messages or pictures and not be able to send videos of more the account holder unless there has been an online consent form signed by everyone that will be present. When signing the consent for there needs to be identity verification by a government picture ID. There has been too many instances where people steal other users photos and use them as their own, taken unsolicited pictures or videos and sent to people without their…

  9. Make it not so hard to find how to edit profile

    I spent all morning looking for a way to edit my profile. I open the app on my phone and I see everything about everyone else, I can read my messages, see my taps, see the adds, there is "Browes, Inbox, Favs Store" on top there is "albums", Taps", Messages" a little emblem of people with a "=" I tap it and it gives me "favs" says "not enough favorites to start a chat". then two lines with small circles on them, choose that and get "Message Filters".   11. Discreet tag option

    Provide people with the option to hide their tags from being visible but still allow them to be searched by those tags. For example, if someone enjoyed a kink and wanted to be searched through that tag, but didn't want it to appear for EVERYONE, they could tag themselves discreetly.

    I don’t need reminded that often about your cookie policy. Anyone that does is suffering from severe Alzheimer’s or is a serial killer and neither should be allowed to make their own decisions. Once is enough how do I disable that?

  16. Edit profile button appearing when visiting users profiles

    Hello Grindr team, it does more than a week that I start seeing the "edit profile" button in which user profile that I visit. I'm sure that this is an interface issue, since nothing happens when I click on it.

  17. Alt text on photos

    A lot of people are visually impaired and have a harder time using the app because they can't see the pictures. Alt text allowed for a description of what's on a picture (guy posing in the bathroom in front of the mirror showing off his abs after a shower)

    Having the ability to add alt text to the picture you can allow more people to use it and find love/Lust.

    You could combine it with text description that allows for context (like I'm the right)

  18. Optional toggle on/off of double tap to chat

    We all have our needs and preferences. Many of us require they visit and read the profile before instantly messaging. Many don't read profiles. I'm personally a trucker on a schedule and I know many of us are too busy to be wasting time "chatting" with people that double tapped our icon on the grid. Many users put Read Profile as their headline because of this. I don't because I think that's kind of go-to lame. But I would love to be able to toggle off that double tap to chat on my settings.
