Time travel
The Problem: We often spot someone on the grid while driving or working but can't chat immediately. By the time we are free, the user is gone.
The Solution: A "Rewind" button to see a static snapshot of the grid from 1-12 hours ago.
Why: It solves missed connections and increases engagement. Great potential as an Xtra/Unlimited feature.

Reformat Ad Display/UI
We understand that Ads on the app aren't going anywhere for free users. We ask that you make the ad experience less dreadful and honestly less invasive. The ads shown on grindr typically make you wait 10-60 seconds (sometimes longer) before you can interact with the app again. Not only does this waste user time and increase frustration, but it essentially locks you out of your phone. Ads begin playing loud sounds unprompted, even in silent modes. The ads can't be closed without pixel perfect accuracy and many times open a new window in a browser without user permission.

How long the profile has been open.
Knowing how old someones profile has been open can help in determining whether they are full of crap like so many people seem to be on Grindr, unfortunately. You could then also make it a upgraded feature to remove it.

I got banned for no reason I never in 10 years I had my account I broke any guidelines im so lost with out grindr can any look into this I submitted Appeal it and I know that robots are replying now this affects my metal helf and stress that grindr put me tho plz I'm begging help me, please get me back my old account.

Scandalous Over reach
It is absolutely ridiculous that a personal preference (something you have no control about) is being enforced by Grindr. I'm just simply not attracted tona certain demographic. It doesn't hurt my friends from that same demographic.... why can I not search for a certain demographic?

Could you please add a distance filter, it's getting out of control!!
Honestly you need to add a distance filter on this app ASAP, it's getting out of hand!
I use this app to meet new people actually as I am chronically ill and can't go out of the house to venues or bars and what not as my medical condition won't allow it. But having a conversation with someone and finding out they are in Estonia or California is kind of outrageous, unless that's what you're going for in which case thats great. Over a month ago I was trying to create an account and accidentally selected the wrong year which led to Grindr banning me in terms of underage account creation I assume. And now, it seems that I cannot even make another account because it is like they banned my device absolutely.

We now only have access to the top 2 conversations, and all the others that were previously free, all my previous connections, now I have to pay for them on Xtra... It doesn't deliver the contacts it used to without wading through a bunch of slop (ads and profiles).
I realize that development is expected and ads bring money, but I would suggest that the app take a look back to early times, when it was simple. Now that the users have transformed and adjusted to Grindr norms and learned their tricks and fakes around things, go back to your roots and say "what made us great?". The companies that become over-developed, chase trends or sell out to too many income streams become irrelevant faster. Make it possible to be unseen/hidden from new accounts. Checkbox in profile.
I've reported one stalker 70 (about) different accounts, Grindr don't respond to me or delete those accounts. Would love to be hidden from the new accounts that he creates, sometimes five a day.
I also reported accounts promoting justhole.com hundreds of times. And suggest you start scanning the user database. That's not happening, so let me at least be unseen by all of those accounts.
The same goes for top-boys.com and all of the only fans accounts, that now have started tapping also.
