Ingenious idea!!!
Grindr is the only app the gets worse and more buggy with each update even though it's been successful for years already.
Why would anyone pay money for a buggy app?
So my ingenious idea is.....wait for it.......
Fix the goddamn bugs and people will actually want to pay for the %$&y app!

And not all them, no, only 23, unless you go unlimited. What's next? Charging just login? Charge to see after first five profiles? Charge to change my profile? Race be added to tribes...
Add races to tribes to decrease any targeting and increase traditional understanding of boundaries such as linguistics, social habits and customs. Especially when it comes to a white guy not understanding certain social behaviours and not knowing what to look out for in terms of safety... I don't know what you target race ratio is but it's not fun being robbed and you didn't even see it coming... Serious PTSD when it comes to this app... I can't even imagine surviving or ever using it again if you're one of the abduction cases in jhb.

Blocking the favorite feature.
I would like to block the favorite feature to maintain anonymous when I’m at a location I don’t want to be favorited so I could maintain anonymous and never be favorited.

Face-hiding time wasters.
Assign unique, easy-to-remember (perhaps AI-generated) graphic to each account at creation. Think nature-scene, or modern art piece.
Prohibit change after account creation.
Force use of said graphic when no photo is offered, perhaps even make it a pic that can't be unshared.
Make it easier to detect time wasters, so you needn't spend an hour typing to realize you are once again communicating with amorphous blob that your brain still has no visual reference for....

Filter based on sexual health status /last test date
I think we should be able to filter based on sexual status. Everyone has a preference and a comfort level. Were able to filter by weight,height, position,etc but we can't filter by status. Ppl are worried about being filtered out based on having a positive status ,but you're okay with filtering someone based on other physical attributes. Plus those who don't have any hang ups or issues you'll still be available or maybe some prefer to mess with others who can relate to there status.

Age verification
Please require age verification through ID and Drivers License. This is a serious issue and something that endangers the lives of users on both side of the screen ! We need this to create a safer environment and experience for users, and to restrict underage users from using the platform.

Have a cruise spot list
It would be great to have a section for cruising spot like on Squirt and free. Like that there is many people who cannot receive at home and make it difficult to meet. And the users can participate to make the list.

Bring back the delivered vs sent in messages
The entire time i’ve used the app for the past half decade they’ve asked for more money for read receipts which is just laughable. You can ask for more money for genuine services that can’t be offer for free anywhere else. Everyone had free read receipts whether they realized it or not. It’s something so small and inconsequential that they’re only holding it back because it’s another thing like Tinder. Where they’ll lock up everything the app is and means to be behind ridiculous prices, expecting people who can barely pay bills (which is most of us), or people who…

Delete profiles that only ghost or block after making set plans to hookup or meetup
I would say 90% off the time people make plans after chatting and never show up or ghost me even after asking for my address etc. This app costs soooo much for a bunch of people to just be sexting and not actually hooking up, dating, etc. And if I make plans with someone I can't make plans with someone else.
