Add words search in profile or description
Tags are not as useful as you intended, it’s a good idea but are very “foreign” (USA or Europe) focused. I want to be able to search key words into the profiles, like “Pokémon” or “Nudist” “Naturism”, etc. please enable this kind of search or add some other tags pleaseeee!!

Stop bombarding me with desperate pleas for money
Like it’s not even the candy crush getting on my nerves anymore. I’ve learned to live with it. It’s your app asking me to buy boosts! Buy pro! Buy this! Buy that! Like girl we get it you’re horny for money but like… you’re not getting my money. And the more you distract me with ads shoved into my face the less I use your product. It’s truly that simple 🤷🏻♂️

Grindr, please show you actually care about your actual member base -- the folks who made you popular. If you are going to insist on making the gay app into a tranny utopia, at least give us the filter to remove them.

Disable read receipt
If I pay for the app, shouldn’t I be able to disable read receipts? Sometimes I accidentally tap the notifications and they take me straight to a message i would not have opened to avoid them knowing I read their message.

Need a safe space or Service Tribe within platform for non bot and non scam space in app to meet real people no dick pics zone
You have to grow with the reality that scammers are running easy predictable scams that anyone with a degree in english can flag and then an algorithm that can clean up a sizeable problem especially in the trans tribe space. Filter out people looking for NSA/Casua/Right Now
Right now, you can use the filter to show guys who are looking for friendships, relationships, hookups, etc. by ticking a box to select that option. What I would like is a filter that does the opposite, i.e. show profiles that DON'T have an option selected. In other words, I want to see only profiles that DON'T have "right now" ticked.
Not everyone is on Grindr looking for sex so it would be great to find the few guys who are ONLY looking for friendships, relationships, or just normal dates. Thank you!

Get rid of the bar - age filter
Have you tried your new update for the age filter? Really annoying to use, difficult to put it on the right age you want and min and max get mixed. Before was so much better. Change your UX expert if needed please

once texted somebody, the app should give an indicator that the person has been texted not just in the last 24 hours, but historically so that sometimes when we like somebody very much and they don’t like us back, we know that we shouldn’t text him again because they're clearly not interested but when we don’t know the person has texted or not, we end up replying to their profile pictures, or giving a tap, even though we have already reached out to them before and been ignored, and that makes us look a lot more desperate and makes the…
