Friends only tag
Please add a “friends only” tag. My husband and I are in a committed relationship but would love to make some more friends locally after moving. It’s been an impossible and depressing experience on Grindr so far but this tag would help us filter through profiles and only approach people who are genuinely looking for the same thing as we are. We feel really isolated because we don’t know any other LGBTQ+ people near us. A Friends only tag or setting would really help us.

Location sync issue and other errors.
The application does not refresh the location correctly, even though you are already 5 km away, it still shows as if I were in an earlier place. There are also problems with sending messages that will not be sent until you reset the application and try to send messages again, or the problem of displaying profiles for an unspecified reason, in which case a restart may not even help.

Adding a function that shows what the other person is looking for, right away on the profile, not in the description.
Right now, the categories are hopeless and don't actually work properly at all. As if someone has a selected category that they want to meet to get to know each other and maybe want to be in a relationship, but they are only looking for sex.

Account filtering improvements.
Currently, there are a lot of profiles that are in relationships, or every other profile is looking only for sex. Which actually makes it very difficult to find someone for yourself.

Improvements to photo verification or mandatory face photo.
I don't know how the photos that land on the profile are checked, but it doesn't work as it should. Every second may have a naked body on top and will not be blocked, or some strange picture that means nothing to the person's appearance. Such photos should be removed.

3. Added functionality to detect and verify inappropriate user behavior, including in messages.
Currently, the correct verification of people on the application is practically non-existent, every second person proposes drugs, very dangerous sex that can end in tragedy, disgusting suggestions that go beyond the healthy thinking of others, they cheat by sending incorrect photos or give the wrong age, they offer to sell various things or trips abroad for high earnings, advertise products, use the account through external programs to cheat in the location.

Improvements in locating profiles.
Currently, the application claims that users are 1-3km away, then suddenly they are 8-9km away, and then only 150-250km away, which is not true because if I am physically in a different place, it turns out that there are others users not originally seen from my home location. Even if this situation is improved in the paid versions, because I don't know, it would be rude to pay for the correct operation of an even basic function.

The new look of the application.
The app needs a new design as many other apps are currently undergoing an aesthetic revamp. Compared to them, Grindr seems almost unchanged over the years and you can see that it has aged visually. The minimalist design needs to undergo a redesign for 2023. These are just a few suggestions that can improve quality, consistency and user experience.
Changes such as:
- Added nicer subtle curves.
- Added slim spacing between profiles, including visible spacing between content and advertising.
- Changing the dark gray background to black.
- Added much more animations and micro-interactions including pulse effects.

I'd like to see who has me favored ⭐️
Just a you're able to see who you favored, I'd like to see the option of who has me favored! ⭐️ Their notes should not be included in that list as they're private to the user.

Archive messages
I’d love to be able to archive messages rather than delete them. I don’t necessarily want to block every guy that doesn’t respond, don’t need the messages in my inbox, but also don’t want to keep messaging the same person. So if I could see that I messaged them previously that would be helpful.

Fake profiles, escorts, etc.
Fake profiles are not being handled by Grindr. I get guys who I've reported creating new profiles EVERY DAY and contacting me again -- there needs to be verification like a government-issued ID. If a profile with that ID has been reported/blocked/banned, they obviously should NOT be able to just create a new profile with the same ID. Also all the escorts need a separate category - any "regular" guy who asks if we're "generous" is an escort. The word "generous" if used should generate a pop-up warning. Too many fake profiles, there must be a way a user can “verify” themselves and avoid having all these bots/fake profiles.
