    I recently faced a problem due to having purchased my subscription on one account and later using the option to sign in with apple ID, which created a new account and transferred my subscription to this new account. Linking accounts can allow users who have an account created using email to be able to log in using apple or google authentication without having to memorize a password and have a better management for subscription.

  11. Temporarily becoming invisible

    It would be fab, to be able to ‘pause’ your account whilst undergoing treatment for STIs. The profile will not appear on the grid, in chats or in favourites. We could mark profiles we have hooked up with and then when ‘pausing’ our profile this triggers an anonymous message to recent sexual partners within Grindr.

  12. Valid Driver's license or id

    In order to use this app, a valid driver's license or ID should be required, for anyone who is worried about their info being leaked, all that would need to be shown is you're name and date of birth, and when it expires. I'm sick of being contacted by minors, and having to report them and track down their parents to tell them that their CHILD is doing this shady ass shit.

  13. Appear online only within x miles

    I think the option to only appear online within a certain radius of your location would be beneficial.
    This could be used for people who travel, giving them the ability to appear online where they are, but not appearing online to people from their hometown.
    This would have to apply to anyone who has you saved as a favorite also.
    Selectable feature: variable from 5-50 miles.

  14. Add Education profile field and filter

    For those using Grindr for dating, it would be nice to have an Education profile field that we could filter on. Choices like "High school", "College", "University", etc. would help find matches that are more likely to be compatible.

  15. Need bitcoin payment option and web access

    Please give us web access and a bitcoin payment option (like rentmasseur.com). I would subscribe to XTRA if I could pay outside my Apple account. And I would use Grindr more if I did not have to have the app on my phone but could access through the web. Thank you.

  16. A "We Fucked" badge

    Like giving someone a favorite star, only this function has a dual purpose. With the badge only being visible to the account holder that enabled it, another option would be made available under the sexual health tab. "I've Screened Positive"(or other wording) button would be available to all account holders. Once pressed, a check box screen should open (some that should not have the functionality to be unchecked, to decrease potential false/revenge action) and a save button.   18. Allow users to re-crop thumbnails for approved profile images more easily w/o having to delete & re-submit the img

    The app needs a feature to allow users to easily adjust profile image thumbnails if we are not pleased with how we cropped the thumbnail when we submitted the photo initially. The UX should be as simple as this:
    1. Tap THUMBNAIL PREVIEW to open the cropping tool.
    2. Pinch/drag to adjust.
    3. Save & return to Edit Photos screen.

    In current state, the user has to delete the picture and then go through the entire submission & approval process again. Then the user must re-order their photos after the pic is approved. This multi-step process wastes time for the…

  19. Discreet app icon update

    The point of a discreet app is not be something random but all the options have hearts or something to do with dating. Can we create more options or maybe lets users generate icons by selecting a single emoji or from a selection of preconfigured icon.
