Bring back enescenty
Bring back enescenty so we can pick what nationality we want to show on are grid like I want to chat with white and latino and asian and that's all I want to show on the grid I hate going through and blocking out the nationalities. I don't want to see on my grid and I do erase the nationalities that I don't want to show on my grid so if you brought back enescenty it would be a lot easier

Making block as paid feature
Most of the people uses this feature as a must clickable button. Very demotivating that you cannot talk with some of them because they block you before/after you sent an image of yourself and you saw nothing about them. No, I'm not ugly and also others have the same impression about the app/people there. Also non-replying must have been sanctioned. At least a say "hi, no, thank you" would be a minimum.

Modern software
Speed, stability, and ease of use are important for any modern software. This echoes what is described at https://commander-one.com/extract-tar-gz-on-mac/,which explains in detail how to work with .tar.gz archives on Mac easily and without unnecessary difficulties. Both topics have a common essence: the user wants the tool to just work — without glitches, complicated settings, or unnecessary steps. Just as Commander One is designed to make file management intuitive, apps like Grindr need to be optimised so that users can focus on what's important — communicating — rather than struggling with the interface.

Picture verification
While most of the profiles dont use their face as a profile picture
However
Would appreciate a verification status of each face picture sent in the chat
This will help avoid many spammers/scammers/ in some countries the authorities
As well as avoid multiple account creators2 votes -

Quickly report & block spam
This is similar to another submission, but goes a bit further, so I thought I should add it.
It takes 7 clicks to report and block a spam profile. Some steps are slow.
Sometimes it is necessary to report a number of identical or very similar spam profiles to make the Grindr grid even usable again!
The normal Grindr Hiding doesn't seem to work for travelling, roaming or boosted profiles. It only works for profiles that are indeed actually nearby. Spam profiles are not actually nearby, just appear so, so therefore normal Hiding doesn't work. The only option that works…4 votes -

When scrolling/swiping horizontally, please don't go back to the grid view after blocking/hiding an account.
With all the spammers and female-identfying folks on what has always been a male app, reverting to the grid view after each hide/block wastes so much time. Instead of going to the grid view, just show the next account like it normally would when scrolling/ swiping horizontally.
