Save specific chats and pics
We should be able to save specific chats and images to our Grindr profile that pins them even if the backup hasn’t been restored.
Imagine that you meet a cute guy and the chat is super good full of deep and meaningfuls and on top of that his pics are sexy AF. You should be able to save that chat so even if the back ups don’t work that you can always be sure that chat is saved.
My backups are acting up and I’m losing chats and some of the chats are with guys that I’m genuinely interested in…

Ways of Searching
It would be nice if we could search by hashtags 1 or a multiple of to 5. That way I could search for what's hard to find like for an example: Dom Top ltr outdoors workingout no-smoking. Than search and only those with the same hashtags will come up and when it does it starts with the guys that matched the most of the hashtags you had chosen on your search. How about a search engine that works.
Can't search by age most of the time and its annoying. Why have the option if you can't use it. Or find a format that works and stick to it instead of changing it every other month.

Extortion and blackmail as a result of cat fish unverified accounts
Grindr, to the best of my knowledge, is the only platform of its kind that does not verify users. Now I acknowledge that Grindr will not confirm this, but at least 25% of all active accounts are troll/cat fish accounts that are on the platform for the sole objective of masking their identity to lure legitimate users in, only to steal our (sometimes intimate) personal property. When I was visiting UK or Germany the feature of tags was available for me. But when I am in Czech Republic where I live this feature is unavailable for me. Can you please change it so that I can use tags in my country?

Fake profiles using the app as a network
There are hundreds of fake profiles using images and nude images without consent, they are all over the Polk county, Florida area . I think there are using an outdated version of grindr and they can be found easily because they have no green icon that says "online" and there are dozens of duplicate photos under multiple profiles I think they are using a tablet with no number verification or a tty line I have pics of the blocked profiles I have blocked over 800 so far I sent screen shots of the profiles they are also using this app…

Revert filters to how they used to be
Used to be able to swipe from right to left to bring up the filters. Now it's horrendously accessed by tapping on the filters icon at the top. But when you swipe right to left now all the screen does is dim itself unnecessarily!!
Not only that, but when you're in your favorites tab, swiping right to left pulls up the "online now" and "has a note" functions as it always has. So why go away from the right to left swipe for filters??? Makes no sense.

Make viewed me free for everyone .
Make viewed me free for everyone since you've taken the block feature away from viewed me I can't see who's visited me past the last profile. I used the block so I could see who else has viewed my profile.

Fix your app
Stop partially updating the app, either do a full update that works or stick with the old system, currently none of the tags work properly and in the search field you will only be given 3 people to choose from, BUT if you select “trans” as an add on im suddenly able to speak to 12 people in that category. And now you put out ANOTHER partial update where the profile barely loads to fit your awful new profile set up, stop updating the free version if you’re going to make it worthless, or give us the option to choose…

I dont like how some off the ads in your app will automatically download whatever app they're advertising if you accidentally press them. I dont think that should happen. I've had issues with info being compromised and I'm pretty sure it was because of this. I think it's fair if maybe they take you to the app store but I think it's a very sketchy look for your app to allow the ads to auto download onto phones like this.
