Loyalty
If you think about it. Your customers want to be able to see as many people as they want no restrictions and when they come to Grindr they have to deal with only seeing very limited people there type. Plus if they want to see more they have to pay a ridiculous price for the service. That is why most people leave. So think about helping out the guys who want more but can’t afford it.

Mark an album as "Opened" (Xtra/Unlimited)
The paid subscriptions already have the "read" mark for messages. However, the same notification doesn't work for the albums, because if the other user just see the album message on the chat (without effectively opening it) it also marks as "read". We should get an "opened" notification when the album is opened by the other user.

Compromised Email accounts
After an email has been hacked or compromised there is no way to select a new email address to back up your chats to and the application forces you to continue using the compromised account, this poses as a security risk for users and data integrity

Add years to messages time stamps
I’d like to know the year I messaged someone. Right now in messages it says “MONTH/DAY” but could have been last year or a couple years ago. Would like year added to time stamp

More kinds of taps
I think it would be useful to have a couple of more tap choices, like "Thank you" that we could use when someone taps us with the fire tap but we're not interested.

Bator to jo
I'm not a massive bator, but I know that it is a whole thing and it's not described as jo. I've spoken to others and they agree. I think it's a very bad idea to be changing it. It does not sound good.

Repair the new update
Everytime I click on a user that I can see a profile photo of . The app pulls them up as a blank photo with no pictures. I’ve checked wifi, my 5G service. I just downloaded the app on a iPhone 14 so my equipment is good. This update is BAD!

Fix it
How about instead of focusing on making changes all the time and working out how you can milk more $$ out of us by taking things away you fix the fucking app so it works properly, for a couple of months now there have been ongoing issues trying to refresh a blank screen so we can view our who viewed, the fresh screen and even our favourites screen it won’t work, constant we are unable to find. Your location msg’s, and now not loading pics on somebodies profile or showing a dog pic in grid to profile, and these are…

Search parameter clipped at distance
So it seems recently that depending on how many people fit into your specific sort of parameters within a three mile radius, that's all you get before you have to pay for more. If I use zero search parameters I can get maybe 80-90 people depending how densely populated the area is. If I do, say 'Online Now' at the time I'm searching in the same area, it's 30 to 35. If I do a search for one position, it's 12. I don't mind paying for a little bit more search flexibility, but it seems like before it was capped…

Unlimited blocks or available filters.
I'm tired of seeing gross people, women, trans, aggressive, nasty, old, and drugs, or unattractive people who can still message me after I've rejected them. But I've maxed out my blocks and can't see profiles that are potential matches or people I do want to talk with. Please change something the app is so unpleasant to use because of this.

To many fake profile, block and right away create another one
Have a section with all profile hidden and authentic pictures like scruff. I spend day to look for serious person.

State/neighborhood/area controls
It would be great for places like in the NYC where different neighborhoods, states, or specific areas are physically close but still too far to travel.
For ex, being in NYC vs being in NJ. Only the Hudson River separates them but it’s not easy to go from one to the other.
Or north shore of Long Island. I used to get a lot of people who live in CT as someone close by but the Long Island Sound is between them.

Hsv2 declaration feature like hiv status notification on profiles
Much like the option already given to users for HIV status declarations the feature proposed would be a close to being mirrored and easy code for web engineering and design team to reproduce exactly as you have already done for covid-19 descriptors recently given to users as an additional description feature.
NEW DESCRIPTION FEATURE that would greatly benefit user profiles would be for Genital/sacral/oral herpes simplex viral infections these conditions are also known as a persons HSV-1 and HSV-2 status.
The CDC statistics provided in 2022 reports that “roughly 18.6 million people living with HSV-2 reside in the United States.”
