1. Transphobia is rampant on grindr

   Transgender women are a large percentage of this app but there are LITERALLY NO SAFETY FEATURES TO PROTECT TRANS PEOPLE. this app is full of statements like “sissy” “cross dresser” and “sex slave” this is just fucking disgusting. It’s outright intolerant to let this happen. I’m ashamed of how violently sexual gay men can be to trans women.
   TRANS WOMEN ARE NOT YOUR FETISH.

   Tem um usuário que sempre me ofende no aplicativo e me bloqueia pra eu não ter tempo de responder. Mas é muito inconveniente, pois o comentário dele aparece no chat e quando eu Clico eu vejo a ofensa dele e a mensagem "usuário indisponível" e o perfil dele some, sem me dar oportunidade de responder.    Once a day a grindr user may be able to get a free hotel room voucher. Or Two passes to steamwork.

6. Stalked by an anonymous guy

   I am being stalked by a local guy constantly.

   I have an open relationship with my guy. We are both allowed to browse the apps.

   This guy favorities my profile and every time he sees me online he texts updates to my other half saying - oh he is back online looking and he can’t be that into you. Blah blah. My other half tells him it’s ok, but he persists in dripping poison.

   It’s easy to say ignore. But it’s affecting my partner now. We are open in using the apps. But the constant jealous pressure is making us both very annoyed and upset.

   I changed profiles but because he is local he found me again and follow me again. And updates my partner again. Every few mins.

   I have zero way of blocking this guy because he sits behind a faceless detail free profile and in a big city so impossible to find.

   He is doing this as he is my partners ex lover and insanely jealous.

   I enjoy using the app to chat to fun locals especially when I travel to find new places to go.

   I hate not having a profile pic / open face pic just to hide from this anonymous stalker.

   I wish we could see who favorite us back, so we could block them if need be. That’s what I would like to suggest.

8. Remove social media links

   Over half the grid is spam bots promoting social media. If you remove the links it will at least cut that back some.

   You all are doing a crap job of Grindr!

   Mostly spam, screws up my profile pics randomly, the costs have skyrocketed!

   Why should I keep paying for a “service” where the product gets worse and worse and the price still keeps climbing?

    They should create an album called "ID" in which the person who wants to submit to an identity verification uploads 1 to 3 photos where their face can be seen. And subsequently subjected to a facial biometrics similar to Tinder so that when they share photos from their other albums and we want to confirm the Identity of that person, they send their "ID" where they share the photos of the facial biometrics and the app certifies the identity of the person, each time they modify 1 of the 3 photos in the "ID" album, it will request the facial biometrics again, with this we avoid so much impersonation in this app, which is not a minor issue.

11. This can be a safe space if...

    This app is being used by people to commit crimes, harass, and bully others online. It would be great if we could report profiles that do this, even if they've blocked us. I often get hate messages, and the sender blocks me as soon as they see I've read them, before I can even respond. Being able to report and remove or even block their MAC address or these accounts would make the app safer.

12. Profile verification

    The app is now full of fake profiles. It would be ideal if it allowed some sort of profile verification (like other apps already do), voluntary and discretionary. But that makes it immediately visible from the grid with a badge if the photo is real or not. This is also to increase user safety.

    I love how Grindr connects people, but I think it would be great to have more features supporting local businesses and community events. 16. Get rid of ‘for you’ I don’t want to be suggested women on Grindr

    The ‘for you’ feature is very poor, the point of Grindr is to find MEN in your LOCAL AREA, the explore searches are good, but I don’t need women or people miles away put at the top of my feed and suggested for me. You should be ashamed to be charging gay men so much money only to then homophobiclly shove women and trans in their faces. Disgrace.

18. Face verification before uploading to profile

    Living in a country where being gay is a crime, being outed has serious reprocausion and may cause you your life. There are guys on grindr who are able to post face pictures of other people on their profile putting that person's life in danger, some have even taking their own life. I believe introducing a face recognition verification step when attempting to upload face pictures on profiles should be implemented confirming that the photo being uploaded is the user's and eliminate impersonation and catfishing.

    As previously mentioned. Let me block a blocker. The trolling is like half of my experiences here. It almost feels purposeful tbh like why can't we also block them? It's clear the button exists for a reason and the fastest person to use it doesn't mean they were the ones who needed it.
